Dr. Kovar was friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. He quickly assessed my wife's situation. All the other professionals were dumbfounded and insisted that my wife had a pulmonary embolism or heart attack. She had neither!
Dr Kovar is great. SCL health at Lutheran leaves much to be desired, won't refill medications because i missed my appointment during a pandemic. Called days ago and they said a nurse would call me back. Never a call.
Had an excellent experience with Dr. Kovar. I found him to be very competent, a good listener, and the office was efficient and timely.
Absolutely incredible doctor/professor, one of the few that does not go around with his laptop but listens and spends as much time is needed with his patient

I took my 84 year old Mother to see Dr Kovar, because of her history with AFib. We both loved him! He was very friendly and thorough.

Dr Kovar was the cardiologist who not only pulled me through a 2012 heart attack and put in two stints, but has been my cardiologist ever since. In my 69 years, I've never had a more competent and compassionate doctor. He never rushes through an appointment and always answers all questions. I highly recommend Dr. Kovar to anyone to has cardiovascular concerns.
