Dr. David Neubauer Lombard

Dr. David Lombard is a complete joke of a Psychologist; Do yourself a favor and save your money for someone else. From the moment that my family and I met him, he fell short every time and in multiple ways. He initially said that the appointments would be $200 an hour, split two different ways between my family and I. When my mother reached out to him on multiple occasions trying to pay her share, he repeatedly ignored her calls. When I met with him for our first appointment, there was zero concern/compassion period, the only thing that he could focus on was money, even after I had paid him. I went against my better judgment and scheduled a 2nd appointment with him, as I understand that we all have an off day, and I really needed the services offered. He told me that he wanted to proceed with some testing for the follow up to which I agreed. I unfortunately had to cancel the appointment at the last minute due to an emergency bronchoscopy as I had been coughing up blood for a few days at that point. I called Dr. Lombard to cancel/reschedule and was met by his voicemail. I left him a message concerning what the issues were, and that I needed to reschedule. He never returned my call period. I called two additional times over the next week, and again, no response whatsoever. After reading through some of these responses/reviews, I am definitely not surprised to see that I am not the first person that has experienced these issues with him. My advice, find someone else who is more professional, and who shows it through actual integrity. For David Lombard to call himself a Christian and to use that to try to gain business, stands against everything that Christ Himself represents, as David is in it for himself. After someone I knew was falsely accused of molestation, and Dr. Lombard was able to prove they had lied and threatened the child, I felt the need to use his services when I was falsely accused of abuse. I could only afford his cheaper service, but it still took me for $3k. I didn’t mind since the testing went on to prove I was innocent. It is this reason alone that I give him 3 stars instead of 1. The problems came after the testing. My accuser purposely delayed turning over medical records by more than a month, and was uncooperative. This fact was omitted from the final report. The contents of the medical records, showing clear signs of instability was omitted from the final report as well. There was content I wanted to share with the doctor, but he would continually cut me off, saying it had no bearing on his review, yet he gave his personal view on the very thing he wouldn’t hear me out on, with the final report. When the report was turned in he told us if we had any questions to contact him. Well his report was not 100% clear in its wording, and my attorney and I wanted to know about the omitted items. Both email and phone calls were tried and to this day no return call, email or clarification has been offered. If not for the positive outcome of my case, this rating would have been worse. I felt ignored and unimportant since he got his money. If I thought I could get it I would ask for a refund. He may have the brains, but he lacks professionalism. Had I received clarification, he would have received glowing reviews just as he did from the person I knew that he had helped before me. Had a C&P exam with this Psychologist. He was very through, listened, and was very professional. Mr. Lombard cares about people and their welfare.

He came to the correct conclusion & diagnosis, despite not having all of the information or misleading information. I was surprised. Understand that it was not my choice to partake in this experience- and if I did have to repeat it, I would feel comfortable with his expertise. Thinking of seeking out his opinion again about an entirely different matter. Skilled at gaining trust. He is more powerful than what seems right. Wields it well- is fair & unbiased.

DON'T TRUST HIM!!

I have attended a couple events from Dr. Lombard, and they have all been great. He definately walks the talk.

I have found Dr. Lombard to be very helpful. I have attended two of his events and both were great! Very professional and well planned. Both of them exceeded my expectations.

My experience with Dr. Lombard was positive and helpful. I gained so much insight and advice through my therapy sessions with him and really enjoyed talking with him... He was very professional and kind -- would recommend him to anyone!

The most arrogant as EVER came across!!! Spent good majority of review bragging about himself. Omg. Please save yourself and your family and find a provider who is truly concerned about the patient's well being and not boosting his ego by degrading his patients. This person should find a different career, as I can guarantee he has caused great emotional and mental damage to many good folks. Too sad.

Extremely unhappy with Dr. Lombard. We had an appointment 2 weeks ago so our youngest could have a psych eval. (DCS was forcing us to do this). The report stated that our daughter smelled, (she was showered the night before, but had used the bathroom 3 minutes before being called back). He also said that he clothes looked wrinkly (they came out of the dryer that morning), sorry, but I'm not gonna pay to have jeans and t-shirts dry cleaned. The report also stated that I appeared dirty. (had a Hi-Viz t shirt that will never have the stains come completely out), my knees were dirty. (I was doing yard work right before we left home), and he said that our family doctor should consider anti-depressant meds for our daughter. No ONE with ANY amount of training, education, or experience can make a determination of depression in only 2 hours, especially when the whole appointment wasn't used to make a determination. The Psych eval was supposed to determine whether she was autistic, and that was it. I will definitely be filing a complaint with the states medical review board. Extremely unhappy with Dr. Lombard. Wonderful, professional, direct and patient. Please ignore the other reviewer! They appear to be a neglectful parent that the government had to force to take their child for psych counseling. How sad!
