Thorough and very knowledgeable information

Dr Miller optimizes the time he is alloted. He listens to my concerns and comes up with a plan.

Dr. Miller was great very professional and we discussed my medical history he gave me his feedback concerning my future Ortho care.

Two knee replacements in 2022, both doing above my expectations.

Dr Miller did a double knee replacement ( both at the same time) three years ago. Believe it or not, a good experience and Dr Miller was wonderful during the entire process. He is a good listener, definitely cared about me and is very acknowledgeable. Yesterday I went in with extreme hip pain . After X-rays ( a positive report) I found out I had bursitis. He injected the area and it was truly painless. Today I can finally walk without discomfort. I feel like a new person. Thank you, Dr Miller, for all your expertise and care you’ve given me. Bless you.

My appt with Dr. Miller was Feb. 15th at 1:00 pm. I was seen by Dr. Miller, received 2 cortisone shots in my knees, and in my car heading home at 1:20 pm. I wish all my Doctors were this efficient.

Great practice, Always personal care! Listens to his patient, takes time

Dr. Miller replaced my left knee in 2017 and did a great job! When it’s time for the right knee (which sadly is drawing closer), I wouldn’t want anyone else to do it.

I saw Dr. Miller for my knees. He is truly an excellent professional: caring, down to earth and very informative. I recommend him highly to anyone.

The office staff were very friendly and accommodating. Dr Miller was very easy to communicate with and understood my needs quickly. He seems to have a great way to ask the right questions to figure out the issue and possible path to solution very efficiently. I would recommend Dr Miller and this facility to anyone.

Dr. David Miller is the best Orthopedic surgeon ever. I say this because it's hard for me to trust, and as I got to know him I knew he was going to take good care of me. He did just that I'm not crooked anymore he did a total hip replacement on my right side. Also, he knew that I had Cerebral Palsley on my left side and I said to him I want to be even and he that make me even. So, when I say I appreciate him for helping me I really do. So I highly recommend him to anyone who is unsure of finding a Orthopedic doctor surgeon he is the one.

I highly recommend Dr. Miller. I had just completely convinced myself that I needed a hip replacement. I think Dr. Miller knew before x-rays that it wasn't that. He gave me an injection for bursitis and I have felt better for 24 hours. I went back to him because of a successful meniscus surgery 13 years ago. I'll keep going. Good location for Southern Virginia orthopedics and therapy.

Had appointment. Wait time was only a few minutes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dr.Miller was professional and courteous.

Dr. Miller made me feel comfortable on my first visit. He answered all my questions without making me feel rushed which is so important to seniors. His knowledge, experience, and professionalism instilled a feeling of trust.

Wonderful doctor and surgeon. Very friendlyy and down to earth. He made me feel very comfortable and he was patient and explained everything that I needed to know. Great staff as well. Highly recommend

Dr. Miller was very patient and honest with me about what was going on. He provided a remedy to help relieve the pain. I am so grateful I stepped foot in his office.

I made an appointment for a follow-up on problems with my right knee. On this visit, Dr. Miller was able to explain my condition as well as answer any other questions I had. I received a much needed treatment on this visit

Dr. MILLER replaced both my knees in 2005 and they have never given me a minutes problem or pain! Now 17 years later I need a hip replacement and he is the only person I'd let do it! I remember post op after my knees, all the nurses talked about how good he was and they could always tell his patients without even looking at the chart because their outcomes and recovery were so positive.

Horrible. They called 5 patients back at the same time. So I sat waiting for 45 mins before I left unseen. The worst experience.

The doctor was Very rushed and impersonal. In and out. More concerned about type of insurance then your issues. Check in was smooth. Facility was clean. That’s the only reason they got 2 stars.

My first visit with Dr. Miller was good. I arrived with a negative attitude. I felt like I wasnt gonna get any help. I was just going along with what my PCP advised. Both my knees are in very bad condition. I have bone on bone, bone spurs and arthritis. So, needless to say I have been living in a lot of pain for years. Yes, I'm over weight. That is where I knew my stumbling block would be. Dr. Miller was real with me and told me that in order to be a candidate for a knee replacement I was gonna have to loose some weight. In the meantime, he would see me back and monitor the weight loss and continue the shots as long as they help. They have helped so much. Two hours after getting them I was pain free. I have weakness, but the pain has gone at least 95 percent of it. I'm determined and excited to be on the road to getting better. This was my first visit. The staff were professional. Dr. Miller listened to my concerns and I had a great experience. Wish all health care providers followed this model.

Dr. Miller is such a nice doctor who cares about his patients. I just went to my second appointment with him. He really wants to help his patients achieve their goals so they are able to get the treatment they need. He was highly recommended by several other people who are in the medical field and also his patients. Everyone in the office is so nice.

Dr Miller performed both of my hip replacements. He was very informative and his bedside manner was very comforting. I would suggest his services to everybody who has hip or knee problems. He is the best!

Dr Miller took plenty of time with me and gave a detailed explanation of my condition. At an earlier date he did a knee replacement on my left knee. The procedure went well and I am walking normally three months later. I highly recommend Dr Miller.

I have met with Dr. Miller twice regarding a knee replacement. Both times he was professional, kind and explained my situation. My fear is not the surgery I would prefer to have the COVID vaccine first...he did not judge me. He suggested an injection in the knee... I felt almost immediate relief (he was right on target)!!! F/u in 3 months...we’ll see how ole’ righty is feeling them!!! ???????????????????????? Once again, I met with Dr. Miller re: knee. At 72 I am reluctant to get righty replaced. I had the other knee replaced in 2014. The rehab was slow; but I made it! The good news as before…the shot was on the money!!! I am very pleased with Dr. Miller! Dr. Miller is best orthopedic surgeon that can do your surgery

Went in to the Colonial Heights offices for my follow-up visit; preregistration made the whole process a snap! Dr. Miller was prompt, efficient yet gentle; empathetic and patient. Staff is also top-notch. I definitely recommend this doc and this practice to anyone needing an orthopedic specialist!

Six doctors & counting who have been personal caregivers to me & my family. We keep coming back because we trust their knowledge, their understanding and their ability to meet our needs. I always feel that Dr Miller cares about me personally and wants to ease my pain.

I went for a follow-up visit from total knee replacement on 11/02/20. He was pleased with my range of motion and answered all questions I asked!! I am also pleased with my progress and the care I have received!

Dr. Miller listens, he’s down to earth and unassuming. I’ve had three arthroscopic procedures on my right knee and probably have a replacement in my future. Dr. Miller reviewed the state of my knee, discussed near and long term options and we agreed on a conservative plan.

I understand that Covid has changed a lot of things. But I genuinely felt like a Name in a clipboard. The nurses were great- both times I arrived for my appointments I was asked to come 30 minutes early and waited for over an hour to be seen. I watched as people who arrived after me were called back first. I was sent to a different location for an MRI and then instructed to come back for my results. I Waited over 40 minutes in the waiting room just to be called back to be told there wasn’t anything they could really do and to make an appointment with another practice. I was told what was wrong with my hips like it was a common phrase I would hear uttered on the street. Then I asked what was it called again- and was told like I should know?? Like I went to medical school. So I had to look up on Google what I had and what was going on. While I was waiting for another nurse to come and make an appointment at the second practice. I’m hoping this was just a one time occurrence- but I just wasn’t very satisfied with any of the situation. I understand that Covid has changed a lot of things. The doctor was fast in his assessment and direct in his words. He was blunt and despite patting me on the arm to say he is here for me before he left - I felt like an object versus a person. His bluntness made me feel judged. It was not a very comforting atmosphere. I am hoping and praying my medication cures the issue. Dr. Miller is not mean but his detached demeanor is off-putting. At the end of the day I am not a patient but money. More patients means more money. I would prefer care that is both honest and comforting. Nonetheless, Dr. Miller did his job well. Dr. Miller has been amazing treating my knees and hips. We finally have a diagnosis and I highly recommend anyone with knee or hip issues to see him.

Dt. Miller is so easy with his injections. He injected my hip and I felt almost nothing. Only felt like a mosquito bite. He just knows how to do it so that it works and my hip pain goes away. This was the 3rd injection that he has given me. I highly recommend Dr. Miller.

Doctor Miller is an amazing surgeon and a very compassionate person. He replaced both of by mothers hips and has helped keep her out of pain for many years... when you ask my mom to describe Dr. Miller, she always says... HE'S THE MAN.????

He is a pleasant man. Has a nice manner about him. He doesn't beat around the bush like some doctors do. I would highly recommend Dr Miller to anybody that has a hip problem.

Dr Miller is a dr who cares about his patients. He does all he can to get to the root cause of your pain. He projects a caring attitude that lets me know he is a people person and honestly care about his patients. The staff was polite and friendly and waiting time was very short.
