"Most relaxed I've ever been at a dentist's office."

David S Morehead family dentistry is an answer to my prayers , me being a very nervous person , it is a blessing to find Dr Morehead . When I say that I am nervous , it is an understatement . I am a basket case having to set on my hands in the dentist chair . Dr Morehead helped me out with the anesthesia , he is an angel , I thank God there was no pain ! ! ! I love this place ! ! !

Dr. Morehead is amazing! My tooth was pretty much non-existent so he had to get creative and put in quite a bit of work, and it turned out beautifully....and this is just the temporary.... everyone in the office is extremely friendly and have wonderful work ethics.

He has been a greta dentist. I appreciate him and his staff for all they do.

I have such dental anxiety however, Today was my first visit. I was greeted with so much warmth and kindness by the office staff. The entire interior of the offices and exam rooms are beautifully decorated. I found that extra comforting. ???? Meeting Dr. Morehead was such a pleasure and a relief. I look forward to entrusting him with my dental care and needs. Thank you, all of you, for making today a great experience. See you all very soon ????????????

Went for my first appointment, and found the dentist to be patronizing and rude. Even after explaining multiple times that I understood the issues I had that needed to be fixed, he spent nearly half an hour repeating himself about how the issues could have been prevented to the point of shaming me. At one point he even questioned how my parents raised me, which I found demeaning and offensive. Cannot recommend and will not be going back to this dentist. There is no justification for any doctor of any kind to be this rude, patronizing and and borderline cruel. If I could give a rating lower than 1 star, I absolutely would. Been going here since I was a child. The dentist is fantastic, but this new staff he has is beyond horrible and going to cost him tons of business and money.

I have been a patient of Dr. Moorehead's for years now. I was his first patient, he was moving into the office, I knocked on the door, and he let me in to pull my wisdom teeth. Dr. Moorehead is the first dentist that listened to me when I said, "I don't ever get numb enough, I still feel the drill on my nerve." From the first time I sat in Dr. Moorehead's dentist chair, I have felt no pain. Nothing. I use to sit and deal with the pain at a previous dentist but I have no anxiety and no pain. For me, that was worth everything. Dr. Moorehead will also tell you when he needs to send you to a specialist. I find this to be an incredible strength, to know one's boundaries, to care for the patient's true dental needs, instead of going ahead with procedure with possible doubt of what the outcome will be. I had my wisdom teeth pulled here today and it was very quick. The doctor was brief and to the point, business minded and focused on getting the job done which are all good things. Would recommend

I had my teeth looked at by Dr. Moorehead and cleaned by his dental hygienist kenya she was very thorough and kind, my overall treatment was excellent I do recommend. Very orderly and in a timely manner.

I went in to have a tooth removed, this was my last option considering they weren't busy and got me right in. Worst dentist ever. Rude and very unprofessional. Had a $1000 partial made from him and it didn't fit right, went to him two times to fix it and the last time he said there was nothing else he could do, for me to deal with it and wear them. He also removed silver fillings and replaced them with white. After he was finished he told me that silver is better and lasts longer. I did not tell him to switch them in the first place. Couldn’t get past the very rude lady answering the phone or speaking to walk-ins due to her condescending attitude and talking down to everyone like they are stupid. He is wonderful with my kids. He offers a stern but kind manner that my kids respond well too. As their panic started to rise before their procedure, he calmly told them that if they acted scared and nervous....then he might get scared and nervous and he needed a calm hand to do their procedure. It worked like a charm! He talks to my child; not to me about my child like they aren't there. Dr. Morehead is an awesome dentist and I recommend him to everyone.

Very rough

Staff was very nice and welcoming, However the Dentist acted as if I was a inconvenience to him. Appearing as if he was in a "bad mood"! He was very rough extracting my teeth and did not walk me through the procedure beforehand. Personally, I Would not recommend if your planning on getting oral surgery or an extraction especially a tooth cut out. I had two molers cut out.. Not only was he very rough through the process but also left my gums looking horrible. The pain was brutal after the fact and sent me home to take Motrin 800 which didn't touch my pain at all. Really nice people. Got in to see him in just a couple of days. However the work I wanted was not covered by Medicaid. He gave me the best estimate that I could find, and I want him to do it. Dr. Moorhead has been my kids dentist for many years! He's a cool dude! His staff is pretty awesome too creating smiles for miles!

I enjoy coming here. the staff is always wanting the best for you and wanting to make sure your comfortable. They seem to meet all of your needs and try anything they can to meet those needs. I've never had a problem with getting in when I need to get in. Dr. Morehead is great he's patient and concerned about your teeth.

Great Dentist. He is very good at causing very little pain when he performs his procedures. He is very quick, I am usually in and out of the office in 30 minutes or less. If one has a problem he will schedule you in instead of making you wait 3 weeks with a broken painful tooth. If you need a great dentist he is the man.

I started going to Dr. Morehead a few years ago. I was needing a tooth pulled and they got me in right away. He made sure I couldn't feel anything, and when I did he gave me more numbing meds. Pulled my tooth and I never felt it. My son and I go regularly now. I love the entire staff. I have recommended him to many people.

I had never been to the dentist since I moved down here to get my teeth fixed. I was always so nervous. I thought the only dentist that was good was back in Harlan ky. But my son told me about this place and I decided I would give them a try. And I loved it. Didn't have to wait a long time in the waiting room to be seen. They get you in and out as soon as possible. I've had 3 teeth pulled on the same day and really didn't take long at at and as for pain I never really had any. I'm so glad my son told me about this place. They we're all so nice too. Dr Morehead is the best. I felt no pain. I felt he cared for me. I would recommend anyone and everyone to stop suffering through your dentist appointment, free yourself from pain, and go see Dr Morehead.

I would give one star, but it's not possible. Rude staff. Rude doctor. Don't spend your money here.
