I was diagnosed with BRCA1 gene and I decided to undergo a preventive double mastectomy. From the first visit I felt like I was in great hands. He is a very kind, compassionate, skilled and knowledgeable Dr with great bedside manner and he did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend him.

Doctor Rock is by far the best surgeon I have ever had the pleasure to have treat me. He was kind, caring, thorough and treated me gracefully. He explained everything every step of the way. If I can use him for every surgery I ever have done for the rest of my life-I WILL!! Highly recommend.

I had surgery for a partial mastectomy and was very happy with my care, my treatment, the general handling of a very unhappy situation. Dr. Rock was concerned, knowledgeable and explained everything fully. As I was blindsided by this happening at all, it was very nice to have someone take the time and care that he did during the initial visit, the surgery, and the follow up phone call. He definitely had great 'bedside' manner and it was much appreciated by me as I have always been averse to going to see or work with Doctors.

Run!!!! Misdiagnosed and dismissed. Currently in the midst of a lawsuit over malpractice. I could have been kicking cancers ass over a year ago

Misdiagnosed. Had he done the biopsy like ordered I could have started treatment sooner. Avoid at all costs. He does not listen and nearly cost me my life.

Dr Rock has great bedside manner, was respectful in discussing options, and impressed me as a wonderful physician. However, I went in today for a follow up appt. I waited ONE HOUR after my appt. time and still did not see Dr. Rock. No one told me that he had an emergency, or ran late in surgery or would be right in. I finally put on my clothes and left. The office is not patient centered or well managed. Dr Rock has great bedside manner, was respectful in discussing options, and impressed me as a wonderful physician. Dr. Rock is an amazing surgeon. He’s very personal able and his sense of humor is most welcome when facing surgery. He has don’e two surgeries on me and I will seek him out if I ever need a future one.

I went to Dr.Rock after a biopsy came back benign but atypical ductal. He ultrasounded the area that was biopsied and that lump was gone but I mentioned that I had another lump. He said it was either a sweat gland or lymph node which are both normal objects in a persons body and that he would not biopsy it. So I asked him well who would and he said no one. I’m going elsewhere, he’s incorrect. This site notes in his procedures that he does biopsy lymph nodes.

Dr. Rock did not go the extra step to biopsy a lump that was there for two years. Had he just biosped, we would have found the breast cancer earlier. Instead recommended I come back in a year. Now more extensive cancer treatments are needed once a biopsy was done. Would have been a lot easier if with an earlier diagnosis. Also, front office was very rude when trying to make an appt. Told me I could have an appt 1.5 months later. Thankfully, went to a different doctor and now in treatment.

I went in scared to death. I had just been diagnosed with breast cancer. He calmed me with his caring gentle voice. Explained everything he could. Answered all my questions and then some.

Dr Rock’s efforts at meeting my needs went beyond what I’d hoped for. He even called at the end of a very long day to give anxiously awaited lab reports! Not once but twice!

My wife was very nervous and Dr Rock made her feel very comfortable. His bedside manner was excellent. He answered all of our questions that we had. I would recommend anyone that is looking for a cancer surgeon look no further than Dr. Rock
