Our first visit he leaned down and asked my 4-year-old son if he knew why he was there. He then proceeded to draw a diagram on the paper cover on the bed of the kidneys and surrounding organs and explain to our son what was wrong and why it was important that we test and monitor him. Our son is now 13 and, in addition to keeping us well informed, Dr. Rozansky continues to include our son in the conversation and quizzes him on what he needs to be doing to maintain his health.
