3 years ago I ended up with Sepsis (11mm) stone that Dr Swartzwald knew about for a few years. Also had an 8mm in other kidney. It moved and I got septic. 6 weeks in hospitals, 3 weeks in rehab learning how to walk again. I had no knowledge of what happens when a large stone moves. Dr didn't care about my well being.... just bring in the next patient $$$$$. It was Delray Medical ICU that saved me with my daughter on top of everything. I had a tracheotomy, feeding tube, dialysis and more. I was in a coma and a Delray Medical Dr gave my daughter the pull the plug talk.. Thankfully, I am still alive. Great doctor. Nice person. Brilliant mind and bedside manner. His office staff is wonderful. You can’t say enough good things about this office. Jamie helped me get an appointment and the office was patient with me. It IS possible to have quality and empathic care. A+

The whole place looks unkempt and not clean. They require an imprint of a credit card to be seen. I had to ask for an antibiotic before my cystoscopy. Dr Schwartzwald injured me during the procedure and prescribed a medicine not covered by my insurance company. Rather than prescribe a comparable medicine he made me file for a waiver from my insurance company. It was denied, all while I was in pain for weeks. His staff did not help. Finally nurse friends gave me the names of 3 meds, so I called him and he jumped on the phone while I was talking to his staff and started yelling at me. "Which one do you want?" He yelled. I said "PICK ONE." He did. It was covered. It worked, but anyone that puts up with this type of care is insane. Everything about this place is Third World. So what if you have to wait! That is why you are called a Patient....be Patient!!!! David is one of the most highly respected and outstanding urologist in the area. He cares. They also very good at monitoring Testosterone levels and make the proper recommendations to rectify any concerns.

Too much paperwork is my only complaint. The staff is competent and friendly. The doctor is extremely competent, experienced and kind, a rare trifecta.

Dr. Schwartzwald is the most amazing Doctor I have being a watchful eye on my behalf. Have been under his care for about 20 years now. A lot of you giving this man low ratings on wait times. I’d like to know which doctor that you all go to where you’re taken on the dot? Dr. Swartzwald is fantastic at what he does, being a 27 year old that has to use a urologist was really embarrassing let alone intimidating. I couldn’t have asked for better care in all the times I’ve seen him. He knows his stuff and is wonderful. The MA staff and his female PA is also great. This is what a urologist is about! So knowledgeable, informative, kind and compassionate. Knows so much about IC. Highly recommend.

The nicest Doctor. He is a pleasure. I would not go to any other Urologist. If you are like me and afraid of a Blood test, let "Helen" take your blood. I always have a problem, but she is the ONLY person that I ever had take my blood with ZERO pain. I had her do it 3 times in the last 3 years and felt nothing which is amazing.

I had a CTScan of my abdomen and pelvic area..I only have one Kidney and I got the results back and read them myself. When I called the Drs. Office I spoke to his assistant and she told me I had a mass on my right and only kidney, I told her that's not what the test shows, she proceeded to give me another drs. Name to see him about the mass.. i was upset, cause the report did not say that and i wanted to talk to the Dr. She called me back later and told me she had looked in the wrong file. I was flabbergasted, was she covering for the dr. Who put the wrong notes in my file or she is grossly incompetent. Awful experience my 84 year-old grandmother's appointment was at 3PM we were asked to come in at 2:45PM to fill out paperwork as a new patient. We showed up at 2:45PM and waited for 2 hours we never even saw the doctor because we were so fed up. We finally got to the room where we were hoping to see the doctor and it was so dirty my grandma asked if there was a broom so we could clean it. There was no sanitizer anywhere for patients and visitors not covid safe at all. The people behind the desk are rude and we had to sign so much paperwork my grandma asked if she was signing her life away. Stay far far away from this place it is not safe or clean and I hate that I brought my elderly grandma to this disgusting office during a pandemic. Horrible experience! Dr helped me get my PSA from 14.3 14.0 in Apr 2019, 14.9 in May 2019, doen to 5.3 in Sep Oct 2019 - I used 4 supplements, and still do, since the nutrients we expect in our fruits and vegetables are no longer there - everything is pre-picked 6-8-10 days before ripe - including tomatoes. .

My husband has been seeing Dr. Schwartzwald for four years for a serious medical condition and is very pleased with the excellent, compassionate care he has received. Dr. Schwartzwald saved his life. All members of his staff are wonderful, too. Dr. Schwarzwald is very knowledgable, competent, and professional. He stays current with new treatments. He is also extremely kind and patient. Dr. Schwartzwald has a very busy practice but is never too busy to answer questions, no matter how many we have. We highly recommend Dr. Schwartzwald.

My husband was a patient of Dr. Schwartzwald's for 19 years, and received consistently exemplary care, including three surgeries -- all successful. In 2008, when my husband was in excruciating pain, Dr. Schwartzwald came into the office on a Sunday morning to see my husband, and admitted him to the hospital immediately. It turned out it was an extremely aggressive blood cancer. If Dr. Schwartzwald had not come in that Sunday, I do not believe my husband would have survived, because the cancer was so aggressive and had already spread so far -- stage 4, all through his bones. He did survive, and we had an additional 13 years cancer-free, before my husband passed away last month. We both believed we owed his life to Dr. Schwartzwald's exceptional compassion, diagnostic, and surgical skill. Yes, his office is a busy one, because he is an incomparable physician, who knows what he is doing, and people seek him out. He added years to my husband's life, and life to his years.

Horrendous. The office is a disaster. Over 2 hour wait just there. Poorly organized, rude staff and tons of useless paperwork. Do they really need more than 15 signatures to see a patient? There was no sanitizer in the waiting area and the office staff is so lazy that the pen cup marked dirty was completely full and the one marked clean absolutely empty. After the over 2 hour wait, we made it to a room to be berated by a nurse for not filling in certain information in the forms that was completely irrelevant. The room was definitely dirty (papers, wrappers, used equipment etc) and most probably not sanitized. Are they aware of COVID-related regulations? Based on this fact and after waiting another 20 minutes, we just got up and left. The office staff just looked at us incredulously and was incapable of providing a solution. They couldn't even understand why I would want the paperwork back for a visit that did not take place and for a practice that I will not set foot in again. There are other local urologists and things go smoothly there.

Ended up with Sepsis from a 11 mm stone. Had 2 years or more under dr Swartwout care. Ignored. 6 weeks in hospitals, 3 in rehab learning to walk again. A real life NIGHTMARE.

Every time i try calling this place, they place me on hold for long time, hung up the phone, or send me to voice mail. I usually call to request records for mutual patients. Its incredible.

My father was not treated appropriately and his cancer came back without proper follow up. We took him to U Miami where he received excellent treatment. Stay far away from this doctor. He can prescribe viagra but is completely unqualified to treat cancer patients.

My urologist of 12 years has retired, and my primary care doctor recommended Dr. Schwartzwald. When I got there his waiting room had at least 15 people sitting around looking very unhappy and uncomfortable. The man sitting two down from me tell the reception nurse he had been waiting an hour and a half. I asked how many appointments the doctor had made for that day. They would not tell me. But we can do some math: if Dr. Schwartszald has 15 people waiting at eleven in the morning, we can assume he has booked at least 20 people before lunch. That, plus another 20 after lunch means he is running 40 people a day through that office. One doctor, one PA. So! Some quick math tells us that if he is seeing 40 people in one 8 hour day, those people -- the guy next to me who had been waiting an hour and a half -- are going to see the doctor for five minutes! This is a very bad model for healthcare. You can skip this guy.

I am 68 with diabetes and ED. I wanted the opportunity to once again have a satisfactory sex life. My Urologist offered me pills, injections, rubber bands and pumps. Nothing worked. My last option seemed to be a Penal Implant but my Urologist didn't offer the procedure. He highly recommended Dr. Schwartzwald. Obviously, I was concerned about the procedure and did research on line. As with any surgery, not everyone is happy with the results. After consulting with Dr. Schwartzwald I felt reasonably confident that I was making a sound decision going forward with the Implant. It has now been 5 months since the Implant and I am a true believer. The first week was not exactly a picnic, but after 2 weeks, everyday showed improvement. I can only speak for myself (and my 65 year old girlfriend) that the end result has been absolutely positive. Lastly, I was concerned about a potentially high co-pay. Other than a $200 co-pay to the hospital, it was all covered by Medicare. Perfect. Thanks

I found Dr. Schwartwald earlier this year after suffering a very serious debilitating urinary tract infection that had me hospitalized for the first time since I was a child. Ihad been under the constant care of another urologist who simply treated me for infection every time another one occurred. My former physician did not listen to me and acted as if these infections were to be just part of my life.After my hospitalization and three months of intense rehab, I was referred to Dr. Schwarzwold. I found him to be very knowledgeable and very much up-to-date on medications and techniques. suffice it to say that for the first time in ten years, i am experiencing urological health. I really appreciate his calm and friendly demeanor and his ability and willingness to communicate. s very quickly. His practice is very well managed and his staff is highly qualified. very efficient and pleasant. He is an exceptional physician. I feel fortunate to have him treating me.

Worst Urologist Office ever! The place is dirty, unsanitary ( particularly the rest rooms and the way urine samples are collected). Front desk staff are like prison guards hiding behind glass doors, barking orders, illustrating zero compassion. It's like going to the DMV. I had a cystoscopy which was very painful and administered uncomfortably. The only reason I gave 2 stars as opposed to one is that the Doc himself is a decent man but the overall operation is awful. Beware of this doctor and the facilities they do their outpatient procedures at. I had kidney stones, made an appointment to see the doctor and he said that I have a stone and they were going to have to go in and extract it to determine what was causing the stones. I had the procedure done over on glades outpatient center. From the other reviews, its obvious they don't care about the patients. This was the first visit to this doctor and immediately recommended surgery. Worst Dr experience, with ANY Dr EVER! My 94 year old parents visited Dr Schwartzwald as father was just released from the hospital for a urinary infection. He had a Foley Catheter that need to be removed, he needed the infection tested and he needed instructions to go forward. I asked my Mother to call me when the Dr has seen my Dad and ask if he would get on the phone and explain the situation to me. He replied, " I don't have time for that", walked out gave no instructions.

I just left the doctors office. I had a 3:30 appointment and was seen at 5:15. No one apologized for making me wait an hour and 45 minutes. The procedure I was there for took less than 90 seconds. I will never go back.

My husband (74) years old went to have a biopsy to start at 10:30 at Hospital. We got up at 7:00 to put Solution up his butt. In the hospital paid Fees. He was just about to go under the doctor runs out and cancels the surgery because MRI and Biopsy machine can’t match the small spot. Surgery cancelled! Beware... Dr. Schwartzwald is nice guy and he said the Vasectomy would only take 2 days for recovery. The next day I was in the ER with the worst pain ever. An infection and a scrotal Hematoma is what he gave me. He then prescribed the wrong antibiotic which made the pain and infection last a week. Thank God I went to the ER the second time. Being the age of 24 going to a urologist wasn't exactly something I wanted to do but I am so glad I was referred to Dr. Swartzwald and his staff. I saw him last year for an issue that every doctor said was uncommon and unheard of. Turns out the issue was common and dr Swartzwald helped me! Today i saw his PA Derek, nothing shy of amazing and very smart solved my issue that again ER doctors couldn't figure out. Took time with me and made me feel reassured. Extremely thorough! After having a CT SCAN, because of severe kidney stone pain, I was told that there were no stones. When the pain returned, I insisted on being referred to a specialist. I found Dr Schwartzwald through reviews online, and HE IS OUTSTANDING!! He looked at the same CT SCAN and saw the stone immediately. Because I was in excruciating pain, he said that he could send me to the hospital to do the procedure that day. He went out of his way & made sure that I was taken care of. I am now on the mend.

Dr. Schwartzwald has been my urologist for over 16 years. An amazing doctor during all the usual reasons for seeing a urologist and an even greater doctor when I needed some major surgery concerning my prostate. I feel I owe him so much.

Staff is rude, hard to get a hold, of and will blame you if you cannot get a hold of them. They address patients with an obvious disdain, as if they are not enjoying their work. Would not recommend.

He is a very caring Doctor. When I moved here I was on a lot of complicated medications. He recommended alternate medication that made my life so much better. I have IC
