My first time here, they are all so sweet! Every single person there was so kind! They are very professional, I recommend this place 100%
Nothing but a headache and still no answers. Since March my 4yr old has been having severe hives which has resulted in several Dr. Appointments as well as hospital visits. We were referred to this "specialist" back in March couldn't get in until April the first visit I thought was ok. Since April I can't even say how many visits I have had ???? One visit the Dr snapped at my child which was not ok. My last visit which was last week no answers still. Switched my child to over the counter Allegra, Thanks Dr. We've already done that. Still no answers and another trip to the hospital for hives. I will not be returning. I’ve been waiting on my medicine since October 2021. All you’re allowed to do is call and leave a message. No one calls back. It’s a joke. The condition I have can be deadly if I can’t take my shot right away. My insurance has called and left messages with no callback or care in the world. I was finally able to reach someone today to only be on hold for 30 min and they’ve hung up on me. If you are in need of critical care please choose someone else. I would give a higher rating if their “one parent per patient” policy wasn’t a thing. They couldn’t even explain their reasoning when I asked why. Like that doesn’t make sense. They were all nice and fast. The clinic is clean and looks professional. The front office staff can use a bit more work. No eye contact, talking with others while they help you, etc. The doctor was really great and straightforward along with his assistants.

Fast check in and Staff is great and Friendly they made us feel comfortable especially my daughter that was nervous. Dr. Chu was great he was able to tell me what my daughter was really allergic to When she was misdiagnosed at another doctor office. I’m glad I got a second opinion.
Staff was extremely helpful and patient despite being late to my appointment. They explained everything in detail and made sure to answer any questions I had. Arianna was the kindest tech I’ve had and very helpful with explaining reasons for symptoms and prescriptions

I had a recent visit at Tottori Asthma & Allergy at the Charleston location. I arrived 10 mins ahead of my 1:15pm scheduled visit. We were greeted by a staff member that checked our names and temperature. She was pleasant. While checking in at the front desk, my daughters name was called to be taken to a room #4 in the back. Talk about speedy and on time service!! I was pleasantly surprised. Upon entry to our designated room, we were greeted yet again by staff and told to wait to be seen by doctor. My daughters vitals were taken. The too. Was clean and an air purifier was on for added comfort and protection amidst the current health climate. I didn’t wait long at all before the doctor entered the room. His demeanor was very friendly and he was easy to talk to and understand. The purpose of our visit was to determine whether or not my daughter still had a milk protein allergy. The doctor took his time to explain the “ins & outs” of the matter at hand as well as the options for testing. He was thorough and ensured I understood what he was explaining and what the testing entailed. After he was done, I had no questions Bc he answered them all. Another staff member came in and performed the skin test on my daughter. She was fast and efficient and I received the results within 10-15 minutes after test was administered. Overall, our visit was stellar and feel as though my daughter was well attended to. The staff at Dr. Totorri’s office are pleasant, efficient and thorough. I just had my first appointment with Dr. Tottori to assess my sinus issues and potential allergies. His staff took great Covid precautions and ran like a well oiled machine - one to check you in, one to get your patient info, one to take you to your room and get your vitals and ask all relevant questions for your file. Dr Tottori and his staff were all very nice and professional, and he is particularly personable. He asked great questions and listened to try and understand my issues and concerns. In the end, we performed an allergy test of my choosing, and when that returned basically negative, they provided options - blood testing for further allergy analysis or CAT scan for investigating potential blockages. If you are doing allergy testing you should consider that it will take them some time to formulate, administer, and wait for your skin to react, cleanse, etc (plan for ~45 minutes more). I was in and out in an 1.5 hours, a reasonable time for the great care I received. Thank you Dr. Tottori and staff! Staff is the worst I've ever encountered in my entire life. You have to jump through hoops and go through all sorts of changes attempting to make appointments. If your aren't Spanish speaking at the Charleston location you can forget it! They are giving out allergy shots like water and not even attempting to do any real diving in to your medical concerns, just run up the insurance! Authorizations and messages go unanswered. If you have a bad feeling about a doctor's office, run! I should have with this place. The first visit went okay. I noticed they were a little unorganized right off the bat. I needed immunology testing. Unfortunately, there are no immunologists in Las Vegas. I saw the doctor, gave him my history, he agreed I needed some testing to find out where my numbers are. Fair enough. From trying to make the return appointment on, this place has been a joke. They have now told me "I'll speak to the provider and call you back" 5 times over 3 weeks and they never call me back. They have called to tell me my test results were in and the doctor said he's starting you on IVIG. And it was like pulling teeth to get more information from her. All I was told is that I'll go to an infusion center once a month. The infusion will take about an hour. Silly me, I thought if test results were bad and a doctor wants to start you on a lifelong routine of infusions into your vein that would be something the doctor would discuss with me himself and answer my questions so I'm not scared out of my gourd. Not here. So far, since this office told me 3 weeks ago that I'd need these infusions, my insurance company called me several times to tell me the authorizations were being denied and why. Some intermediary place has called to try to set this up at my home, with a copay of $956 each time. That does not work for me. Not only am I not fortunate enough to have an extra $1,000 a month for these injections. But I'm not okay with 1 nurse at my house trying to get an IV going with no backup in case something goes wrong. I've been hospitalized enough times to have IVs go very wrong. Naturally after each of these conversations, I have left unreturned messages with this office. The final straw was today. Today, they called. Not to return any of my 5 calls. Not to answer any of my questions. To verify that I've picked the medication up from the pharmacy. LoL! What pharmacy? Even if I knew where it's at (which I don't), what am I supposed to do with the medication that needs to be administered intravenously? Guess what?! This place is a joke. You can’t find parking and the entrance is on the back alley corner of the building. I was late because it took me 15 minutes to find parking and now I have to reschedule. Thanks for nothing.
Dr. Tottori and Thomas Chu are absolutely THE best. I keep missing appointments because I can't always get off work to get my bi-monthly injections and Thomas came through for me yet again to get me in on a busy Saturday. I was a mess 4 years ago on my 1st visit and Dr. T became my 'miracle doctor.' Thank-you both.

I entered being greeted and screened which is fine. The problem is my appointment was 9:15 and I made it there as a new patient who did not know the area 5 minutes late. Mind you there's a sign on the front door that says to walk around the building, that takes more time to do. So 10:45 I still was not seen for my daughter and the front desk staff says that because I am late 5 minutes I have to wait 45 to 1 hour after. By far the worst experience I've EVER had seeing a doctor, and I've seen a few in the past 40 years. I've been allergic to dogs and cats for most of my life and I now have other allergies. I went in to get a scratch test to set a baseline because we were looking into getting a dog and wanted to see if I could do anything to deal with the allergies. The doctor/PA.... not sure which. I think it was the PA. He was extremely rude. His tone of voice and demeanor was very dismissive. I travelled with my daughter to this place which is 30 miles away from my home. My daughter is 1 year old and had an appointment for her. I reached on time and texted . But they didn’t see my text . My child had a bad side effect to a medication they recommend for his asthma. Dr.chu ask me am I sure it was medication that cause the side effect. I told him, yes. Then Dr. Tottori told me he don't think it was the medication that cause my child a bad side effect (which is hair loss). I explain to both Dr.Tottori and Dr.Chu I talk to the pharmacist who sees his medication history and the pharmacist explain its a small percentage of people who loss hair to the medication in question and from looking yes, the medication this Dr.Tottori and Dr. chu recommended have cause my child to loss hair. I wish there was a no star option. Where do I even begin... Get there and provide my I.D and insurance then get called back. Talk to the Dr. for maybe 5 min and he said the issue I was referred for was not related, but you can still take the allergy test. Dr Tottori and the staff were professional and supportive. I was free to ask as many questions as I needed to, and they were very helpful. The office was clearly set up for social distancing, with all appropriate measures in place due to the pandemic.
I've been coming here for about 4 months now, to get allergy shots, I must say I absolutely love the staff. They're always so nice and the fact that they remember me makes me happy to come in. Tottori Allergy has helped me with my allergies in such significant ways. I appreciate everyone there.

Very professional, respectful, and quick service! The nurses were all very sweet & worked professionally & quickly. Answered all of my questions that made me feel heard & secure. I carved out a few hours for my visit (as per the website) and the staff was pleasant, attentive, and provided personalized service that I am more than happy with. The behavior of the Doctor and staff was completely unprofessional. They gave my wife instructions to stop her allergy and asthma medication three days prior to her appointment for testing. So my wife came to her appointment struggling to breathe due to not being on her asthma. She was congested due to not being on her antihistamines. She had no fever nor any other symptom of Covid-19. She has had two negative tests for Covid-19 in the last 30 days. The Dr. offered her a tele-appointment. How are you supposed to run a test over the phone? What kind of asthma and allergist Doctor would not recognize the symptoms of allergies and asthma. pathetic.

The office staff makes appointments for days they are closed. And the PA we saw was less than useless. The things he said to my already anxious child led her to eat fewer foods than she had been eating for years. I would NOT recommend this allergy clinic.
No one ever returns your voicemail. Their excuse is, there is just too many voicemails that are left. I had called their office 6 or 7 times and left them 3 VM the past 2 weeks to follow up with them regarding a referral and no one got back to me. That is just poor customer service. I’m supposed to see them again after getting a CT scan and I just don’t even want to bother with them. I’m so irritated I paid that $70 co pay to them! When I did get in to see the PA, Thomas Chu, he was abrupt and seemed to be in a mood. Today I left work early for my appointment. There was a truck blocking the parking lot entrance so I ended up being 3 minutes late for my appointment time. They refused to see me, said there's no exceptions. I asked to speak to the person who made this role and the front office manager went to the back and returned and said "he said he will not see you". THIS is the kind of company this is! I’ve been coming here since last year...No one could ever be reached when called, a few front desk staffs are super rude... and when you have an appointment you’d still have to wait at least over an hour of your appointment time to be called back. The only reason why I come back is because the doctors here are great! And it’s convenient for me. My son is to get retested for his allergies and they told me the lab slip will be ready for pick up since last week. I came, it was not and told me to come back at 1:30pm today. I was there for 3 hrs. I spoke to humans and had the procedure (allergy test), which was all maybe 30 minutes total. Saw Mr. Tottori one time (5 minutes at most) but kept getting told that we would be coming to discuss my results and treatment plan next. Nope! Just staff. My last half hour I spent waiting, I felt forgotten about so I went to find someone. Huh. Most ppl left for lunch as I smelt delicious food wafting through the air and mostly deserted. Most of the staff have been lovely, the Physician's Assistants are spectacular. I have had a few issues like them miswriting my number and not being able to call back on an urgent matter that landed my son in the E.R. That was in no way the P.A.'s fault as he tried to contact me about 4 times over two days. My biggest complaint is with the attitude of the Doctor. Neither I nor my son have ever seen him personally as patients, but when it took over a week for my pharmacy to fill an urgent steroid inhaler prescription I reached out to figure out why. Well, even though they knew my insurance only covers the generic of one brand, somehow the script sent over was for the other brand. Upon finding out the error I immediately contacted the office during off hours because I have been having to use a different steroid inhaler that belongs to my son just to control my asthma. The doctor was incredibly rude about being bothered. I'm sorry, but you specialize in respiratory issues which are often urgent matters. It isn't practical for me to wait until two days from now to potentially sort my inhaler prescription out. I am already on multiple medications for a Mast Cell Activation Disorder. If he thinks he was inconvenienced let me tell you about what it is like to have to wait because your prescription was wrongly called in...
