David Ian Zaret

This guy is pure gold. I have been to several orthopedists to try and diagnose my ankle issues. For eleven years I got no answers. In ONE week Dr Zaret figured out what was going on and set me up with a clear path for treatment. You can't ask for better. He actually listened to me and explained everything patiently and thoroughly. The office is very professional and I had to wait less than a half an hour total over the course of 3 visits including one for a cat scan. I was extremely impressed and wish I had found this practice years ago. Don't waste your time going anywhere else.

He is extremely professional, understanding, informative, compassionate, well mannered Surgeon! I highly recommend him to anyone who has Orthopedic problems/issues.

After falling down stairs and ending up with a double fractured ankle. I was very fortunate to have been referred to Dr Zaret. He performed my surgery and repaired my ankle. He is not only the most caring, compassionate doctor but he explained every detail of the process that you need to know. He helped make a very unfortunate frightening circumstance into a very positive outcome. Also the entire staff and friendly and pleasant.... I definitely recommend him for any ankle, foot procedures.

This doctor ruined my life. He performed Morton’s Neuroma surgery on my left foot and I have been in constant pain since. I used to teach yoga & Pilates, run 20 miles a week and was a black diamond big mountain skier. I will never do any of these things again. I can’t walk and have a handicap parking pass. I strongly suggest you seek other forms of treatment. He laughed at me when I complained of pain and was never able to offer any explanation. He made it sound like it was a simple procedure and I would be fine with the exception of numbness. My foot constantly cramps and wakes me up from sleep. A pox on him and his family. I curse him every morning when I take my first steps.

Very Poor bedside manner, huge ego!!!!!

I went to Dr. Zaret for a sprained ankle. He is one of the nicest and knowledgeable doctors I've come across in a long time. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to see him and it really was a pleasure to go to his office. The entire staff at Orlin & Cohen in Woodbury are very caring and pleasant. I would highly recommend this doctor and office.

One of the most caring, real human feeling doctors with golden surgical hands and a platinum heart.

Dr. Zaret never looked long enough at my MRI films. He just kept blaming my pain on other things like my back. I got a second opinion and he saw a tear in my tendon that even the MRI report didn't find. Don't use him for major things.

I have had three foot and ankle surgeries with dr zaret. He is very knowledgable and explains exactly what he is going to do. I have had no problems with anything he has done. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs foot care or surgery. The staff at the Lynn rook office could not have been nicer.

I have numerous foot problems and have had two surgeries both with Dr. Zaret. He is very nice and explains everything in terms you can understand. Office staff is very nice and where I see him at the Lynbrook location it is very clean. Can't say enough would highly recommend.

Dr.Zaret is a brilliant physician with incredible knowledge. He was correct about everything he said. His bedside manner was so empathetic. I could not recommend any other doctor. This doctor is phenomenal. He answered all my repetitive questions with the patience of a saint. He responded to every message I left with extreme promptness. Dr. David Zaret is the best.
