In August I had an elective total hip replacement performed by Dr Sukin. While in recovery I got up to walk and heard 2 pops. PT had me sit down and reported it to Dr Sukin. He said not to worry about but said in notes he did not remember therapist telling him. Turns out my femur was fractured in 3 places caused by prosthesis slipping. I won’t go into further details however did go to Bozeman Deaconess on advice of another Dr and had another hip replacement and repair of femur. Was I hospital 9 days. He was extremely negligent in my follow up care. It was a disaster.

I fractured the neck of my femur(Hip) at Big Sky Resort. An ambulance ride to Bozeman Health Deaconess ER helped me make the best decision of my life. GO to Billings, and have Dr. Dean Sukin MD and Dr. Randall Glaser PA with Ortho Montana perform the anterior approach Total Hip Replacement surgery with speedy recovery to follow!! Drs. Sukin and Glaser & entire St. Vincent Healthcare staff treated me GREAT. From the ER to OR to PACU to recovery floor, everyone was kind, caring & sincere. THX

I had total knee replace in March 2015 and have been struggling ever since with no relief. I finally went to a none surgical orthopedic who took a full x-ray showing my patella is lined up with my replacement. No wonder I hurt. In three follow up appointments and x-rays this was not caught. It's now 10/25/2016 and I am looking at a correction surgery with a different doctor. Not happy

He told me that he was going to give me a steroid injection in my left knee and I was to return in three months. He stated that if the injection didn't alleviate the pain he would proceed to schedule me for a left total knee replacement. I lost my right leg in 2010 so I need my left leg to be stable,which it isn't because of severe osteoarthritis. When I returned for the follow-up, he stated he had changed his mind and would no longer treat me.
