Dr. Debbie L. Amundson

When I called for an appointment I was scheduled right away. I had a lot of problems, although, I had been going to the dentist regularly. My teeth looked terrible. Dr. Amundsen said she had a “vision” for my smile and she got to work. I look like a different person. My kids and husband are so pleased! I am grateful. I had been living like a hermit and was grateful we had to wear masks for COVID. I can be out without feeling like a pariah. Everyone was so kind and non judgmental. Dr. Amundsen and her staff are the best! I’ve recommended her to multiple friends since I met her.

Worst experience with a dental office in my life. Horrible customer service. Extremely poor and unsafe health standards. Website is lacking vital information that should be available on all websites. I had one appointment here and switched to a different dentist. In my opinion, you are better off browsing around for a different option.

After nearly 25 years of not seeing a dentist, due to fear from a bad experience as a child, Dr Amundson and staff were AMAZING! They were patient, kind and understanding. Her Assistant Kathy held my hand and engaged in conversation to get my mind off of my fear. The office dog Ginger laid in my lap and helped calm me as well. Such a sweet and caring group! My husband is now going as well and can’t rave about the team enough! If you have ANY reservations or dentistry fear, give them a call!!!! Dr Amundson is the best dentist I have ever encountered!

This is was the first time I’ve had a teeth cleaning in years! When I had my appt, I was greeted by the wonderful office manager and also Dr. Amundson. Such a wonderful place to be.. the staff is amazing and the cleaning I had done was far beyond my expectations. I will definitely be going back.

I hadn't been to see a dentist or had my teeth cleaned in many, many years. So I wasn't looking forward to today's appointment. Well it was awesome! X-rays and cleaning, very efficient and painless. I'll be back to have a couple cavities taken care of. Highly recommend this office! Thank you Dr Amundson and Billie!

All the staff were friendly and very proficient. The hygeinist and the doctor were both amazing and explained everything to me throughout the appointment. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love ❤ them, My first appointment scheduled ???? very timely efficient, also told them I wanted my teeth cleaned and they accommodated my schedule. VERY impressed with the Hygienist she was great. Very scared of the dentist normally they made me feel special I highly recommend them.

I would not recommend this dentist. It was such an odd experience. First- she called me to confirm my appointment but asked if I could come in 20min earlier- sure no biggie. However, after coming 20min early- I then had to wait 30 min in the lobby to be seen. Mind you- I waited for her dental hygienists to let her dogs out first. The dogs roam throughout the clinic and while I am a huge dog lover- it felt so unsanitary. Many times I was left in the chair without any explanation of what was happening (My appointment took almost 2 hours for a cleaning and X-rays). I was not provided any glasses while sitting in the chair and actually had to sit up and move the light because it was directly in my eyes. As I knew I would not be coming back- I asked for a copy of my records. I was told they don't release them out to other clinics and if a patient wants their own records they have to pay $10 to get them mailed. I paid the $10 and got the heck outta there! It was a wild experience!! I would not recommend this dentist. It was such an odd experience. Was not clear on the time I was supposed to be at my appt so I ended up being late. You’d think they’d call and leave a message telling me that I’m late but nope.. just let me show up just to tell me they won’t take me or reschedule me. Not to mention the owner was pretty rude in letting me know and was very short with me. Great customer service, right? Ha! Nope. Won’t be coming back. Especially if I can’t reschedule an appointment I mistakenly was late for. Debbie always makes me feel great about coming in. She puts my mind at ease and never makes me feel judged. She does a great job and is super knowledgeable! Plus Abby and Ginger are always fun to see!

I have been coming to Dr Amundson’s office for seven beautiful years. Debbie and her staff are warm and understanding towards myself ,and children’s needs. Her professional attributes demonstrated abilities beyond any other dental doctor experience I’ve ever had anywhere from cleanings to crowns. Great dentist. Lovely office with friendly staff. Everything is explained well, and prices, etc laid out. Got in for a quick check and see, and a deep cleaning. I had been going here for 12 years. I had my cleaning appointment at my lunch hour last week. The day before they called and asked if I could do 9:30am instead. I hesitated, but agreed. I should not have agreed. When I got to work the next day, my coworker had called in sick. I could go into great detail why there was no way I could leave early in the morning. I called immediatly at 7:30am and said I needed to reschedule. They wanted to charge me $100 for a late cancellation fee. I can appreciate that, and I understand schedules were made based on clients. But, customer service should overrule that. I was so upset, but my husband called back and I just went to my cleaning today DURING LUNCH. They still charged me the $100 fee. I paid it and will not be going back. After 12 years, you can't grant me an exception?!? Well, now you won't get my insurance money for my future cleaning or the filling you were going to replace. Very friendly staff & do a great job!

I have had denial, embarrassment and frustration regarding my oral health. I was welcomed by Dr Amundson and her kind staff. As someone who has sensitivity issues they listened to my concerns and recommended solutions. If you are looking for a new Dental home for you and your family I would highly recommend Amundson Dental.

I have been a patient of Dr. Amundson’s and staff since I was 2 years old. I absolutely love how Abby can sit on my lap and calm me down during the cleaning. I am now almost 20 years old and I have never had a bad experience at this office. When I was anxious, I was able to get laughing gas to calm me down. Everyone at this office and most of all, Dr. Amundson, are loving and caring. They always call the next day to check up on how the procedure went. I have been going to Dr. Amundson for almost 20 years and love the personal service I have gotten from her and her staff! She is very gentle in my mouth, listens to my questions and takes absolutely wonderful care of my teeth (and unfortunately they've needed a lot of work!). DO NOT GO HERE! She numbed the wrong part of my mouth and then started drilling (simple cavity fix.) Well needless to say she didn’t numb the right nerve because I was in excruciating pain! Never felt something worse in my life. I had to beg her for more novacain! I was 16 and there alone, she treated me like an idiot, like it was my fault and said I was just “wheepy” She also filed down my teeth to give them a new shape she liked, without consulting me. CRAZY and NOT NORMAL. Google her name, many people report extreme pain, simple cavities turning into root canals, her filing down their teeth too. They also report her saying they have multiple cavities and when they get a second opinion the next dentist says there aren’t cavities. She’s definitely just trying to cause people as much dental work as she can get out of them for more $$$. Not to mention there are dogs running around? How is that legal in a sterile environment!

They are money hungry. You must pay before being billed to the insurance and they charge you what they think insurance will cover. They will always find something wrong in your exams so you can spend more money.

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I saw Dr. Amundson for over a year, during which time she filled several cavities for me. I felt pain near the site of one of the fillings, so after a few days I went back in to have her look at it. She did, and said there was nothing wrong; it was probably just pain from holding my jaw open for so long and it would go away soon. So I went with it. 6 months later, the pain had gotten much worse, so at my 6 month checkup I asked her to look at it again. She outright REFUSED, stating she'd already looked at it last time and there was nothing wrong. Needless to say, I was furious that she wouldn't even look at it. So I saw another dentist for a second opinion, who found that there was, in fact, a LOT wrong. I had to get a root canal and crown on one tooth, and the one right next to it has a crack on the root that is the entire width of the root and will need to be extracted. I'm just waiting on getting the funds for an implant since it's right next to a crown so can't be done the other way. Yeah, very very very unimpressed with the services at Dr. Amundson's clinic. Save yourself some pain and heartache and go ANYWHERE else. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Dr Amundson and her team are amazing! I was up all night with a toothache. I called their office first thing in the morning for the first time and they were able to squeeze me in that day. She put in a temporary filling. And they also helped me set up an appointment and give me a referral for a root canal. That was last week. Since then I've been back for her to check on my temporary feeling and to fill a few cavities. I would never use the word comforting to describe a dental office. But that's exactly what the ladies there do. They remind you to breathe when they feel you getting tense I was cold and they gave me a blanket. Unprofessional.

I am so hurt and appalled at the unprofessionalism that occurred today. I got called at 7:30 am to see if i wanted to come in early due to a cancellation before me. With weather conditions bad and me informing Debbie I would be late, I got a call while I was 3 miles away and was told okay great see you when you get here. As I walk in I was asked if I was Ashley to which I replied yes just to be told I would no longer be able to be seen by her because I was late to my appointment and she pays her hygienists by the hour and can’t just have them “sitting around”. I told her you called my less than 10 minutes ago when I was 3 miles away why didn’t you inform me that you weren’t going to see me then so I could’ve turned around and just went home. What baffled me was she replied with “ I was going to see you but it took you too long to drive three miles, longer than I expected and everyone else showed up to their appointments on time” I am so baffled and hurt as I need an emergency filling, and I wouldn’t of been able to reschedule my first appointment because if you’re a new patient you can’t reschedule or cancel your first appointment or she will no longer see you unless it’s a “real” reason to miss the appointment like you’re admitted into the hospital. Amazing that in all the years of poor reviews, her rating has suddenly risen. My son who is 31, just got back from another dental appt. Just like all his appts prior to seeing her in his teens and all dental visits after...no cavities. Yet Dr. Amundson found 22 cavities in his mouth. I chose and stayed with this all women's clinic because they all are professional, empathetic, organized, punctual, and experienced. They know teeth, and they know people ! I never waited a minute, could switch around my appointments when in a pinch, and I did never hurt after, well, a cavity ... here and there. Not very professional, called to make appointments for my children they said they were not accepting new patients I said , they've been there before, she looked it up seened that my kids have in fact been there before and still told me they couldn't been seen there. (Due to their dad missing an appointment) rude, and unprofessional.

Dr. Amundson is super friendly along with everyone else. I hadn't been to the dentist in years so I was super nervous but they took excellent care of me. They were super awesome with regards to doing things in a way that made the most sense for my insurance too.

Do not recommend Dr. Debbie Amundson and Kathy. Get a second opinion. Always had healthy teeth; 4 cavities my whole life. Went to Dr. Amundson for a general check up and was told that I needed to replace my preexisting fillings - upper teeth only. Got the filling replaced but had pain. Was told it's normal and wait 6 months. Went to a different dentist and was told first x-ray was perfectly fine. I'm in my 20's, but needed root canal and expansive crown bc of Dr. Amundson! AVOID!!!

Everyone is so kind and friendly.Dr.Amundson is very patient and explains what she is doing. This really helped with my dental anxiety.

I have the best care possible by Dr Amundson and her staff. All treatment is explained and an estimate of costs are given before I start my appointment.

Dr Amundson is one of the most compassionate people I have ever met.Every time I have work done I get a phone call to make sure I am comfortable. I would never go any where else.

I found Dr Amundson and her office receptionist Kathy to be very difficult and condescending. The snobby attitude is not what patients need when seeking dental care. Stay far away from this practice.
