Dr. Hart takes time to explain surgery, disease process with the patient. She is very caring.

I was hopeful that Dr. Hart would be able to help me with my GI issues after numerous tests and appointments from other doctors who weren't able to find a solution. The office staff was all very kind and inviting, I was disappointed when she had the opposite demeanor. I have never left a negative review but I left upset and degraded. I had multiple prior exams so I knew what to expect, but her bedside manner was upsetting. Overall I felt very belittled and left with no answers as she said "nothing is happening right now" and have continued to have the same issues and ongoing sickness without any answers. I offered to show visuals and further explain what I was going through in addition to what was on my chart as this was my first visit to which she said "I don't need to hear or see anymore". She did not seem to care about the severity of my issues and questioned my knowledge on my own body. I am glad to see others have had positive experiences and wish I could say the same. I underwent a pretty major surgery with Dr. Hart. I found her to be a very competent surgeon. In spite of the many things that could have gone wrong, I experienced no complications. She was very knowledgeable about my condition and was able to answer all of my questions. She explained what she planned to do as well as possible complications. I had all of the information I needed to make an informed decision about my procedure. I found her to be a calming influence. She spent as much time as I needed to answer questions and reassure me about my procedure. I felt that she had my best interest at heart .
