Everything she recommended costs thousands (filler, lasers, etc.) and the only think that I wanted/made a difference/asked for regarding helping my appearance was a simple ($5) prescription which she wouldn’t give me. I had to go to another (not cosmetic focused) dermatologist. Also very rushed.

Horrible doctor! Worst dermatologist in New York City. She told me my acne was stress related (even though I shared I had hormonal stuff), and she misdiagnosed a friend's skin cancer. Stay away from Dr, Engelman.

I had a horrible experience. She told me I need a biopsy and took a shaving of it. This not only scarred me but was absolutely normal. I had it look at by another Dermatologist who said any first year resident would know that it was not close to being suspicious. Is this even ETHICAL?

It's been a little while since I've seen Dr Engleman but I'm quite sad to say that I will have to be requesting a medical release form. The ONLY reason being is I have relocated to Florida. Dr Engelman in my eyes is the BEST OF THE BEST. Thanks Dr Engelman and staff for making my visits professional and PAIN FREE.....

She was rushed and didn’t do much from there it was the other Derm that helped me not her . She honestly cares if you are famous and assumes you don’t have money

I had a Fraxel treatment with Dr. Engelman 2 weeks ago and the results are fantastic. Dr. Engelman is a highly skilled physician and instills confidence in her patients. She gave freely of her time to answer all of my questions and did so in a thorough and caring manner. I would highly recommend Dr. Engelman as a dermatologist and especially Fraxel laser.

Dr Engelman is so caring and attentive that I would highly recommend her for any dermatology needs!

I recently visited Dr. Engelman for some elective treatments as well as to have a clogged oil gland on my face removed. She was patient and thorough in her examination and explanation my treatment options. The entire process was timely, professional and I would not go anywhere else.

She's the best. Very friendly, attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. She checked my skin for anything potentially suspicious, and then thoroughly explained elective treatment options I asked about. The support staff (PA, I think) followed suit. Front desk staff was businesslike and perhaps could show a bit more warmth.

Dr. Engelman is knowledge, and warm. She spent a good amount of time answering my questions, and provided three possible solutions for my problem areas.

D.r Engelman is an excellent physician with the perfect blend of expertise and empathy. I have been going to her for three years and have always been treated very well. Dr. Engelman is accessible, which can be rare, especially for someone at the top of her profession. I am quite happy with Dr. Engelman.

Went here for a year just for treatment of my acne and I found that they were pressing too many medications onto me at once.. I don't like the fact that they take only a minute to look at my face then judge all these medications I should "try".. My doctor actually pulled out her phone at one point and googled medications for me to try. Seriously? I'll never go back here. Dr. Engelman is the sweetest, most compassionate physician. I wasn't sure what to expect going in to see her. I wanted a doctor I could be honest with regarding my expectations with acne treatment, as well as cosmetic procedures I was interested in. I didn't wait too long in her office and then when I saw her, she was fantastic. She listened to all my concerns and addressed each one. I didn't feel rushed. The cosmetic work she did on me turned out so beautiful and natural. She is a true gem!

Ruined my skin! Never again would I visit this doctor.

two surgeries. highly competent MD. great assistants, outstanding office staff. all instill confidence. procedures went very well. .Great team.

I have had multiple skin cancers removed by Dr Engelman. She did an excellent job each and every time. I did get an infection once and she help me clear it up. My incision sites are practically unnoticeable. I have already sent many people to see Dr Engelman and Dr Serure.

Professional, confident in her diagnosis and I felt I was in excellent care.

Called in October for appointment got one in December. I am not a new patient. They cancelled the day before, because the Dr is having a baby. They just figured this out?? They told me I could reschedule for March!!
