Dr. Dennis Michael Liston

My experience with Dr. Liston has been wonderful. He is very knowledgeable and patient. He has truly helped me find medication that works for me. I could not be more thankful for him.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Liston for many years. He is a compassionate doctor who listens to concerns, and provides information in order to make an informed decision on medications and a path forward. Highly recommend for these reasons and more.

Non-Compassionate, Uncaring, forgetful, far behind the cutting edge in his field.

Dr. Liston is an amazing and extremely caring physician. Took time to listen, tried to help me and fought ferociously for me. Although I am better, need to work at it every day! Medications just didn’t work for me! Today I read an article: INVERSE: Why scientists are rethinking the most effective way to treat depression. So happy to know it wasn’t me. Thank God for scientists who love research and want to make a difference for fellow mankind! It’s been about 9 years since I was under Dr Liston’s care, and I can’t thank him enough for how much he made a difference and helped me to continue to live my life!

He is absolutely horrible dr! He should have NOT accepted a case with Deaf Patients who’s tied up by Horrible Video Relay Interpreters provided by the Holy Cross Hospital! Dr. Liston did NOT ask those questions at all, he is definitely making things up! He does not understand Deaf Culture ‘s body movement! Dr Liston is NOT an Qulified dr to evaluate ANY deaf patients!

Dr Liston is a credit to his field and I'm extremely happy to have entrusted my care to him. He is attentive, analytical, ethical and compassionate. His expertise and calm manner make him an excellent psychiatrist. His assistant, Alba, is always responsive and pleasant to deal with; it's a very smoothly run practice.

Front desk and back office staff are incompetent.

I have been under treatment for 40 yrs. I moved to FL 2 yrs ago and used Dr Liston. He is the worst and most unethical doctor I have ever had the misfortune to know. I never felt he cared about me or if my meds were working. He never asked questions or how do you feel today. I felt he only cared about money. He found out thru his receptionist that I wasn't happy with him and dismissed me without ordering my Cymbalta anymore. Terrible thing to do for a person with severe depression. My experience with this doctor is not as a patient but as a former caregiver. I am angered by receiving a bill 5 yrs after a hospital visit and almost a year after the patient has died. And when I call the office, I am speaking with a call center in India. Extremely bad business practice.

This is the worst Psychiatrist I have ever had. after I went to him for depression, anxiety with panic attacks. I have been with him for 2 yrs. He never once asked me questions about how I feel, or questions as to how effective my medication is. He didn't seem like he cared about me, rushed me out. After I mentioned that I was dissatisfied with him to his receptionist he dumped me. He left me with no way to get my medications, Cymbalta I have taken for 10yrs, was unavailable to me.

I have been under Dr Liston care for years and I would say I owe most of my stability and wellbeing to him.

Never return calls and poor followup. I’ve had to go to office just to get an actual response. Dr was ok, but even he doesn’t follow through, I waiting for communication with him and other Dr’s. It never happen. So much for patient care. I’m done!

This physician is GARBAGE. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to him. He is outdated in his practices and is uninterested in your concerns, nor does he even pretend to be interested. There is no trust developed at all, and he didn’t seem interested in developing trust from the start. I am unsure whether this was due to cultural or racial differences, but I feel this is the reason. Terrible physician, and rude staff.

The best doctor! If you're considering someone to go to I would HIGHLY recommend going to see Dr. Liston!

Dr. Liston is an excellent doctor and psychiatrist. He genuinely cares and gives you the time and guidance to help sort things out. He also has been fine tuning my medications.

Dr Liston is the second psychiatrist that I have seen for my recent, very sudden onset of panic attacks, anxiety, & agoraphobia. Dr Liston actually listened to what I was experiencing & he seemed to actually understand my immense fear of medications. He took the time to explain, in detail the medication and answered all my questions (no matter how trivial). He is great at what he does, and has a great staff too!

I have been under Dr. Liston's care for years for severe depression. He is a wonderful doctor and human being. I recently noticed that he's been listed in the Top Doctors for Gold Coast magazine for two years in a row 2015-2016. No wonder he's so great, I guess others take notice too! His staff is also very kind and accommodating. It's hard to believe he doesn't have more positive reviews, because all of my experiences have been nothing but excellent. Long story short=HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Dr Liston is fantastic! He really takes time with his patients. He is very understanding and really cares. I highly recommend his practice. His office staff is great.

Dr Liston was my attending doctor when I was rushed to the Clevland clinic many years ago. I had taken 2 pills that sent me into a terrible state and he automatically labeled me as suicide watch patient! REALLY? He was the worst..... You can't label people.. He never had even met me and labeled me as a suicide! Terrible!

DR. LISTON'S RECEPTIONIST IS COMPLETELY RUDE EVERY TIME YOU CALL! SHE LIKES TO HANG UP ON YOU AND LEAVE YOU ON HOLD FOR AS LONG AS SHE WANTS. DO NOT BOTHER CALLING, YOU WILL NEVER SEE THE DOCTOR BECAUSE OF HIS RUDE RECEPTIONIST, DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME.

I have been to psychiatrists for 17 years. Dr. Liston is by far my favorite doctor. He has worked with me, a person in recovery from addiction and who suffers from more than two diagnosed mental illnesses, and has given me non-narcotic treatment while also being flexible and understanding of my needs and how they relate to my story. He is an award-winning doctor and a fine person who is up-to-date on psychology and psychiatry as it progresses scientifically. Nothing but respect for this man.
