Dr. Deryk G Jones

Dr. Jones operated on my shoulder (rotator cuff and torn bicep). I have no pain and complete motion.

Dr. Jones has gone above and beyond for me and my well being. I've had three surgeries and Another scheduled in April.

Not a day goes by that I do not regret my decision to trust Dr. Jones to do the right thing. He took a not so bad cartilage problem and with a quick slice of his knife turned it into no cartilage problem. As a result of his overconfidence and aggressiveness my life has forever been altered. I cannot enjoy things that I decided to have surgery for in the first place. He treats patients like numbers. He is heartless. Be prepared to wait 2+ hours to be seen. Even if your the first appointment of the day. When you do see him, he will only be in the room for about 5 mins. Everyone in the building knows you will have to wait, from the janitors to the other provider who work along side him. You can complain, but nothing will be done. His superiors are aware, and have not made measure to make changes.

Dr Deryk Jones performed an unnecessary OATS surgery on me in 2013… he also was fired from the Saints for being incompetent. If you have seen this doctor I highly suggest getting a second opinion.

Im very pleased and thankful, Dr. Jones and his Team provided Premium service, care, and compassion from the very first visit. I felt that their concern was that i receive the very best care and service that could be provided. And that i got. Thank you guys very much.

My appointment with Dr. Jones went extremely well considering I came to him for a second opinion. I was basically told that there wasn't anything that can be done to help with my knee issues as far as long term and was only offered meds and a shot if that didn't work. I went home and started researching orthopedics in the New Orleans area and saw nothing but good things about Dr. Jones and his work history. I decided to follow my instincts and immediately made an appointment to se him. Just by the questions he asked and the way he handled my concerns I immediately knew I was being cared for by someone who was truly committed to getting me back healthy. After looking at my x-rays from the first orthopedic I had seen and ordering his own set, which was more extensive than the previous it was even more evident that I should have seen him to begin with. I look forward to continue working with Dr. Jones throughout this process as I can tell that when it's all said and done I will be back to a hundred percent. Dr Jones, performed surgeries on my shoulder. After two surgeries off trying to reconstruct my shoulder Dr. Jones had no choice but to replace my shoulder. Although I was too young to have a replacement, I had no other choice. Dr. Jones replaced my shoulder and I have full range of motion and very, very little pain. Dr. Jones is a great surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone that needs orthopedic care.

I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Jones on very short notice. However, when I got to his office, I was informed that Dr. Jones was running 3 hours behind schedule. When I found this out, I decided to leave and schedule an appointment with another physician. I do not doubt that Dr. Jones is a good physician, but I also don't have three hours to sit around a waiting room. That's just ridiculous!

I had finally got to the point of needing minor surgery (Tenex) on my elbow. Dr. Montgomery, Dr. Gottschalk, and Dr. Jones all worked to get me in quickly. All three showed an epic amount of concern and understanding, and my surgery was scheduled and completed with FANTASTIC results within my small time frame. Most importantly, all three, as well as their staff, never once made me feel rushed although I know their days are filled to the brim.

Terrible. I literally waited months to hear back from Dr. Jones and his staff about my knee injury. I left dozens of messages and was never called back. The least professional medical experience I have ever had.
