Entrusting my health with this wonderful Dr Young. May I say you should too. He is kind, caring and is willing to discuss any medical issues you may have.

I did not go farther the initial telephone call. The condescending attitude of the screener convinced me that I should search for a different physician.

I have been under Dr Young's care for three years now. He took so much time with me my first visit. I had been sick for three months. I now see Jennifer Rozak. My appointment today was about results of a CT scan of my lungs. Required because of family history and my years of smoking. Male nurse met me at the door for ???? and questions. How do you feel? Perfect! He said that's pretty good and you're coming to the doctors? I found out my scan was so good no signs of lung cancer, and lungs sounded very good. I am greatful for this office everyone is kind and gracious. Going to my car I saw Dr Desmond Young arriving to his office. He smiled and waived at me. Thank you to doctors, nurses, and health care workers for their endless hard work to keep all patients safe. I do my part by staying home and not adding to their workload. Dr. Young is caring and very kind, also very good at what he does. He is conscientious and reallycares about his patients.

This is the best pulmonolgy practice in Myrtle Beach area. Dr. Young is the caring and highly knowledgeable and responsive. You can’t do better.

Not at that place but I went into the hospital in February 2016 and he is the cardiologist that came to check my heart and he was great he really explained everything to me

His staff is awful. You can't get thru to anyone if you call his office nor will they return your calls. If you need some type of test done and you have to get preapproved from your insurance company and they have questions before they will approve it, he will not call the insurance company to get te approval - that's what his staff told me. They were so rude!!!!

Dr. Young is a fabulous physician. My husband is in the process of being diagnosed and had to have bronchoscopy with lymph node biopsy. Dr. Young was very compassionate, explained everything in easy to understand terms and got him on the schedule ASAP. Office staff was extremely helpful and nice. We highly recommend him.

I consider Dr. Desmond Young the BEST choice one could make for Cardio Pulmonary care. Extremely caring, responsive and up to date on all COPD medications and applications (His staff is also excellent) I have been under his care now for 11 years.
