I was referred to Dr. Delagrammaticas from a physician who has been my doctor for years. I could not be more pleased with Dr. D's care. He is all I would hope for a surgeon to be. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

Exactly 2 weeks ago had full left hip surgery and just got back from the gym! Walking about 70% full capacity! Every Hospital & Staff member working for Dr. D have been friendly, caring, and made the process pleasant beyond expectation! It’s been a life changing experience and I can never thank Dr. D enough!

The office staff was pleasant and efficient. The doctor was knowledgeable and pleasant. The only thing which could of been improved upon was the scheduling. My appt was for 8:30 and I wasn't seen until 9 am. Not sure how they could of gotten 30 minutes late so early in the morning. There was no explanation.

Dr. D is the best. He's friendly and takes time to explain the patient's options and diagnosis. His staff is caring and kind.

I have used both Dr. Delagrammaticas and Dr. Shuckler. I highly recommend both Doctors! Doctor D has done a knee revision surgery and a hip replacement surgery. Both have been very successful with no problems. I believe that some of the best surgeons are ones that DO NOT DO SURGERY. After imaging and consultation , Dr. Shuckler said given my age (78) and how good my range of motion was, he did not recommend surgery on my rotator cuff. How totally cool and refreshing. I also thank Doctor D's Medical Assistant, Kelly who has been very helpful and professional. On a negative note, probably the worst front office experience. My Primary Doctor made 2 different referrals over a 2 month period, with no call from them. I then called the office direct and the message said to leave a detailed message and someone would return my call, which I did. After not hearing from them for 2 days, I went direct to the office. Not friendly folks at front desk, and seemed bothered that I came in. I would still 100% recommend using BOTH of these Doctors. Do not let front office deficiencies keep you from getting great care. I appreciated the time and attention he gave me and I rate him highly for both professionalism and bedside manor. I absolutely LOVED my orthopedist who retired, Dr. D filled some big shoes. I highly recommend him.

Dr. D has wonderful bedside manner and he is a good listener. The steroid injection I received in my knee was the least painful injection I have ever had (and I've had quite a few from various providers). The front office staff and medical assistant had great personalities too! I did have to wait an hour, so that was a bummer.

I was seen previously for a cortisone injection of my right knee so as to help with quality of life and athletic performance in July 2022. I returned for a follow up visit to consult and receive another injection for the sesame purpose. My options were explained clearly. I forgot to ask 2 other related questions and left a not for the medical assistant. I received an email reply a short time later, which helps a lot.

Dr. D has a really nice bedside manner. He listens and partners with you. I have had many different injections in my knee from other providers and his was the most painless I have ever experienced! Also, he is working on conservative measures to keep me active before I resort to a knee replacement. I appreciate his honesty regarding treatment options!

Dr. "D" did my left TKR last February and I was in this week to see him for the right TKR we are scheduling for May. He is a great young surgeon and my left TKR was very successful! He is easy to visit with and fully explains the process from start to finish. I was back on my feet and off to physical therapy that week and have had no complaints with the results. I wish I'd done both knees together! His staff is great to work with and I have no reservations recommending Dr Delagrammaticas for your knee problems. we are very fortunate to have his skill sets here locally on the central coast. No Need to drive north or south!

Dr. Dellagrammaticas explains options and concerns thoroughly. I like that his background in hip surgery is extensive and diverse. He does not promote a treatment or urge surgical remedies, but leaves informed decision-making to the patient. He took time to answer my questions. He provided me with a thorough written and illustrated booklet of the problem and surgical procedure. His staff is also very organized and available. I look forward to my upcoming hip replacement and giving up the cane.

The professional office staff and medical care from Dr. D and MA was excellent.

Dr Delagrammaticas and his staff were wonderful to deal with. They were right on top of things. I am so impressed with all of them which made my hip replacement surgery “a piece of cake!” I highly recommend them!

Doctor D showed himself to be a highly qualified surgeon both from his personal care of myself for my Hip Replacement Surgery and for the Excellent Staff he chose. I found that all of my fears before surgery were unwarranted; even the Anesthesiologist saw to it that I felt no pain. My recovery was quick and the staff at French Hospital were so pleasant as to make is almost a social event. Having graduated from Georgetown University with Honors and having worked with the inventor of the Anterior Angioplasty himself, there is no safer more qualified Surgeon. I am extremely grateful for his making my surgical experience so pleasant and easy.

Dr. Dimitri Delagrammaticas is extremely talented with his advanced hip replacement procedure leading with patience, care and organization. I highly recommend him! I wish I had it done sooner. His assistant Kelly is knowledgeable, kind and a pleasure to work with. They both are passionate about their work and put their patients first. It was a wonderful experience.

Couldn’t have been better. Very professional from the start to the finish. Walking the first day with a Walker and after a couple more days with a cane. Walking normal around the third week out from surgery. Never had any issues from pain after 2nd day. Was able to sleep comfortably. Now after 10 weeks have returned to my usual routines including medium yard and gardening without any issues. All in all a great experience compared to my other hip that I had done posterior 11 years ago. Quicker procedure and recovery time!

Dr Delagrammaticas is one of the best doctors I’ve experienced. He gives easily understood explanations with as many details as you’re interested in. He listens to the patient and answers all questions, with realistic answers (especially about recovery times). Great sense of humor, too, which is an underappreciated quality in a physician. The office staff is friendly and efficient too.

After years of limping with a bad hip, I can finally sleep through the night on a regular basis. Dr. Dimitri did a great job , informative follow ups and after three weeks I am already starting to walk on my own somewhat.

I had a recent hip replacement from Dr Delagrammaticas. Such a wonderful caring and professional doctor and staff. From the 1st consultation, to my post surgery appointment, I have felt I was in good hands.

All the medical people tell me Dr.Delagrammaticas is the best doc for knee replacement. His assistant, Kelly, is awesome.

Dr. Delagrammaticas performed emergency surgery on my broken heel at French Hospital. He was very professional and informative as far as the surgical procedure he performed. My first followup office appointment went well. The doctor and staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is length of waiting time needs to be improved.

The pre-operation preparation was excellent. Dr. D has prepared a booklet which lays out everything step-by-step so there are no surprises. I am now 17 days out from the operation and doing great. The wait for my in-office visit 13 days after the operation was acceptable and Dr. D is personable and answers all questions effectively. My physical therapist tells me that he thinks everything is going very well, so the surgery also seems to have been entirely successful. I went off the opioid medication after 3 days and the extra-strength acetominophin works for the most part. I try to take less than the 4000mg a day permissible and find that the ice pack provided by French Hospital when I went home works to significantly reduce pain between doses. All-in-all, I am completely satisfied with everything connected with the surgery. Moreover, the French Hospital team was excellent as well, both in getting me prepared for the surgery and for post-operative care.

Dr.D performed an anterior approach Total Hip Replacement on my 78 year old body. The Pre-Op, Surgery and Post-Op meeting were invaluable in getting back to a quality of life I lost over the previous year. The Team did an outstanding job and I will be forever grateful. Life is real good.

Dr. D. did a total hip replacement on me 3 weeks ago. Before the operation I was in pain, limping around, unable to walk except the minimum I needed to. Now 3 weeks later I have walked up to 2 miles. I still have a way to go to my previous stamina levels, but I think it's going very well.

Surgery, before & after, excellent in all respects. His Anterior vs Posterior method, having gone through both leaves no question which is superior. Driving in 8 days was great. Recovery time markedly less. All staff excellent. Night nurse, if I remember correctly, Pauline, excellent. Just recommended to a buddy in LA, at age 92, Make sure you do the Anterior. Kudos to all the staff & DR. D!!!!

Dr. D took his time with me and really listened to my concerns. He gave me his honest advise and tried to steer me to the best outcome.

Dr. Delagrammaticas took the time necessary to explain diagnostic and treatment information that was relevant for me, in a manner that was both clear and respectful. I felt well cared for.

So Doctor D, as I call him, performed total left hip replacement surgery 3/2/2022. Because I tried an x-ray guided cortisone shot in early December which did not help at all, I had to wait 90 days for the surgery because of the risk of infection. Turns out once we got to surgery day, there was NO ball left on my hip joint. This means it was not "a routine hip replacement". I can't say enough about Doctor D and his expertise. As I write this, I have no hip pain and have walked up to a mile. I am doing great! Furthermore, he is compassionate and caring and does not rush our visits! I am so very happy to have found him. Oh, and by the way April of 2021 Doctor D performed a knee revision on the same leg! Revision surgery means that the first replacement done in Visalia failed, so this was not simple knee replacement. Dr. Dimitri and staff are the best. I was greeted in a friendly and efficient manner on my arrival. It was my first visit with Dr. Dimitri. He was prompt, friendly, and thorough in discussing my condition. I left feeling confident that i will be satisfied with further visits and any potential surgery.

I am so thankful for finding Dr. D who preformed my hip replacement surgery, due to painful arthritis and unable to walk correctly. I am 75 years old and this was my first surgery. He clearly explained the process of this major surgery and answered all my concerns as I felt a deep trust. I had no pain and still amazed on how easy and fast I am back to normal! Excellent first visit. Listened carefully to my questions and provided detailed explanation of what to expect. I feel very confident and comfortable having him do my procedure

I saw Dr. Delagrammaticas for an acute shoulder injury. He was very competent and diagnosed the problem as a possibly torn proximal bicep tendon. He was reassuring and prescribed a MRI and physical therapy. My only issue was it took 12 days for the office to even make contact with my insurance provider for the MRI approval. I now must wait another 12 days to get the MRI done. I suspect this long delay is related to the office staff and not Dr. Delagrammaticas himself.

Dr D was informative and gave several options to severe arthritis…. Did not rush into surgery scheduling. I will feel comfortable seeing him in the future.

I like how the doctor doesn't overtreat. He only prescribes necessary treatment. He does not order unnecessary tests. He is clear about what is needed.

Had a right hip replacement in September by Dr. Delagrammaticas, Great Results and great recovery. Yes very professional, patient and listened completely and his staff is wonderful. His Office care and his hospital care was excellent. Getting ready To do my my left hip here in a week and have nothing but confidence going into the next procedure with him. He is an outstanding young surgeon. I had a right knee replacement on February 1st this year. He prepared me for what to expect and the surgery went much better than I expected. I’d not hesitate to recommend his service and will have home do the left side very soon. We are extremely fortunate to have a surgeon with his skill sets in SLO County. He’s also a great guy too!

My interaction with Dr. Delagrammaticas was excellent. He explained my condition very carefully and gave me options for treatment. He put surgery as the last option which I thought was excellent. Dr. Delagrammaticas did a great job, he repaired it my ACL 6 months ago, and I been feeling really good. 100% recommended.????

Dr. Delagrammaticas was very professional and told me what to expect with my broken fibula. He compared new X-rays to 2 week old ones. The “walking boot” I got was much more comfortable than the Urgent Care one I had been using.

Dr, Dimitrii and his staff were pleasant and helpful when I came for my initial visit for them to evaluate my painful knee. My questions were answered, X-rays taken, and I was able to have a cortisone injection in my knee to relieve pain. A follow up appointment was made towards the end of the year.

Very pleased with both the doctor and the staff.

The receptionist, nurse and doctor were all very personable and professional. Dr. Delagrammaticas explained my condition very well, listened to my concerns and answered my questions. He didn’t just treat me and wish me luck, rather he treated me and said to return if it didn’t work out and we’d try something different! The treatment did work however and I appreciate his knowledge. He also gave good advice for what to do at home.

I had had 4 x-rays taken of my knee as ordered by an orthopedic doctor in Santa Barbara. I could not get in to see them for 4 weeks but I could see Dr Delagrammaticus in a week so I saw him first. He only had 3 of the x-rays up to view and says my knee is fine and from what he is looking at I’ll never need a knee replacement. When I had Radiology Associates send me my X-Ray report it reads “severe” arthritis on it. The orthopedic I saw in Santa Barbara walks right in the room and says “you need a knee replacement” and he substantiates that with the 4th X-Ray I never saw at my appointment with Dr D. I have since had an MRI which points in that direction as well. I will not be trusting Dr Delagrammaticus with my health and well being. Great visit with Dr. D. No waiting, quick x-ray on site & then he pinpointed my pain, made his diagnosis & I started PT the next day. Dr. & staff were patient, kind and helpful.

My wife had the appointment with Doctor Dimitri and I was with her during the appointment. The doctor spent quality time discussing the situation and options. We both felt that he listened well and showed empathy and concern for my wife and what she was dealing with. We have confidence in him after this first meeting. Excellent and concise attention. Dr. D is easy going and helpful. Very knowlegeable!

I went to Dr D to see what could be done about my knee that had been getting more painful over the course of two years. Dr D discussed some temporary options, but said that the only permanent solution would be a knee replacement. He said I would know when the time came to proceed. I wanted to think about it and it only took a week to decide, and because of the pain, I had the surgery. Everything was so well organized and all of his staff and the hospital staff at French Hospital were kind and efficient. If I ever have to replace my other knee, I will go to Dr Delagrammaticas.

I needed a knee revision surgery after my original knee replacement became infected (surgery by a different doctor). Thus far my "spacer" knee is wonderful and eventually Dr D will replace the spacer with a new knee joint replacement. His knowledge and expertise is off the charts. Highly recommend.

I have had my right knee replaced by a doctor who has since retired. My left knee needs replacement and I am planning to have Dr. Delagrammaticas do the surgery. He was helpful in suggesting treatment and not pushing immediate surgery. He is very caring and thorough.
