I had scar revision surgery yesterday and had a issue with bleeding. I contacted them and they got back to me immediately and told me what to do. Unfortunately it didn't help, I contacted them this morning and got me in to the office and took care of it. Excellent care from the nurses, and Dr. Koumanis.

I had to have a double mastectomy due to an aggressive breast cancer. I had the surgery on a Wednesday and was able to be off all pain meds by that Sunday. Also able to return to work 2 weeks later. So far I am over the moon with care and support from his office. I can’t wait to see the final results!!

The staff is very nice. Dr. Koumanis cares about his patients even if it’s after hours.

Dr Koumanis is knowledgeable, compassionate and made me feel very comfortable throughout my consultation.

Being new to the area, I was tentative, but very pleased with the office staff and Dr Koumanis. He was kind, patient and honest. I will definitely return.

Dr Koumanis is great, professional and knowledgeable. Sense of humor is a bonus! Staff was very nice as well! I also love the fact they revitalized this beautiful historic building for their office. Well done!

Everyone there is very kind! Did such an amazing job on my hand for scar revision surgery! Couldn’t use two of my fingers before and now have full mobility. Highly recommend!

Excellent doctor for gender affirming surgeries and not expensive either for what he does.

I got in right away. The staff, including the doctor, are friendly and down to earth.I felt very comfortable.

Dr. Koumanis performed an abdominoplaty with lipo on me in July 2020 and I could not be any more pleased with the results. All the staff was wonderful and very helpful with any questions or concerns i had. I would highly recommend them!

Dr Koumanis did an amazing job, I couldn't have asked for a better doctor for the procedure that I was having done. I would recommend him to anyone having cosmetic/reconstruction surgery. The surgical process was much less painful than I expected and the results were everything that I could have wanted.

Wow what a beautiful experience for my wife dorie .She needed to repair a wound on her eye that was caused by a car door.Glens Falls hospital p.a. said he could fix it but would leave a scar we asked for a plastic surgeon they said they don’t have one. You have to go to Albany.I looked online saw Dr. Koumanis name after she was told by all the other plastic surgeons in Glens Falls they were not taking new patients . He preformed a double Exerciser Tendon repair on my thumb and brought my hand back to top form. The smallest scar. Every visit I had at his office was pleasant and I left completely informed. Every step of the way leading up to the surgery Dr. Koumanis was there to explain what the next step was and was helpful though them. I started seeing Dr. Koumanis in late 2016. Since then , I've had several surgeries. He was always kind and considerate plus whenever I had an issue , I was always able to reach him. Before my surgeries , Dr.Koumanis would inform me step by step of the procedure and answer all my questions if I had any. I'm having a double mastectomy and reconstruction with Dr. Koumanis. He has been patient and kind, answering every question, and I ask a lot of them. He explains everything. I'm quite apprehensive, as you can imagine, but he has been very reassuring and open about results and risks. I'm glad to have had him recommended to me. Dr. Koumanis has greatly impacted my recovery at every step of my recovery he made sure that I had all the information needed to make an informed decision. Office is beautiful, and his staff are extremely helpful. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a bright and caring doctor.

I cannot say enough about Dr Koumanis. The scariest time in my life and he reconstructed me and ALWAYS put my fears first. I can't imagine any other plastic surgeon. And now he is blessing us with his presence right here in Glens Falls! Don't waste your time looking around.... He's your guy....Hands down.

Underwent a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy with Dr. Koumanis in 2015. He is an amazing person, physician and surgeon. He is incredibly calm, competent and skilled. Upstate NY has a world class surgeon with Dr. K. His office staff is fabulous too, Jessica, Anne and Stacy are incredibly helpful, kind, competent and supportive. So grateful that Dr. K and staff were on my team in my surgical journey.

Our 8 year old son was bitten on the face by our dog in June 2015. A piece of his top left lip was ripped out, his cheek was torn open, and he had a slice in his bottom lip. Dr. Koumanis has operated on our son twice, and we could not be happier or more amazed by the results. Our son is ten now, and if you saw him on the street, you would not be able to tell the severity of his injuries based on how amazing he looks today. Our family cannot recommend Dr. Koumanis highly enough. Thank you!!!

Dr koumanis was amazing with my teenage daughter. He was always honest with us both about what to expect thru her 3 surgeries and put it in a way that my teenager was totally comfortable. The end result scat is so much smaller and better than we all expected. His staff is amazing and we're exceptionally pleased with our experience.

I had a double mastectomy due to breast cancer. Dr. Koumanis expertly treated me with big city skills right here in Glens Falls. He had the most compassion of any Doctor that I encountered during my scary nightmare . His skill in surgery has left me with breasts much better than I started with. I now don't even think about it (as he predicted). He very patiently walked me through the reconstruction part , never to rush or minimize my fears or concerns. Thank you so very much Dr. Koumanis.

Dr. Koumanis is a wonderful, patient, straightforward and kind. He delivers the desired results at extremely reasonable prices. I have been to quite a few different plastic surgeons and no one comes close to him. I can't say enough good things about him and his staff is wonderful too.

Dr. Koumanis is AMAZING! He is caring, kind, professional, compassionate and very very very good at what he does. He also looks out for his patients when we're hospitalized to make sure we are treated well. I am 200% happy with my post mastectomy reconstruction, and I didn't anticipate that at the start of this journey. He has moved to an amazing new location on Chester Street in Glens Falls and his office is a relaxing and wonderful space, and his staff are wonderful and professional.

Dr.Koumanis and his staff made my breast reconstruction journey better than I ever expected. I have excellent results because I did not have to rush through procedures. My options (and risks) were clearly explained. I had MANY questions and Dr. Koumanis gave them his full attention. The office staff were welcoming each time I was there--they treat people as individuals, not numbers. There is often a wait, partly because Dr.Koumanis does address patients' concerns.
