Not sure Doctor Rao understands American English-speaking patients who live in the villages. He had no patience with any questions and waved off any opinion you might have. Also, staff requires everyone to give a urine sample even if you’re there just to take a scheduled shot—not sure I like my insurance having to pay for extraneous procedures. And if you don’t give them the sample they Literally stare at you and yell “you refuse!??” very touchy with urine specimens. Hate to think what they charge our insurance companies for them. Be prepared to wait in an office for the doctor 45 minutes to an hour. Rao will then come in to chat for 2 minutes and leave—possibly might come back. Had 2 appointments—he came back once. His time is much more important then yours.

Fabulous and caring physician

Dr Rao is very professional, has a pleasant personality, he is easy to talk to, answered my questions, explained my procedure and future treatment. Office personnel and staff were pleasant, courteous, friendly, and patient.

Doctor is fantastic and the office staff you see are equally superb. The billing office is another story. Incredibly rude, so much so that even my insurance company's representative echoed this sentiment.

Professional and friendly. Listens to and answers any questions I have. I've been seeing Dr. Rao for about two years and have no complaints or concerns. He treated my problem successfully after another doctor failed to. And, the staff is friendly and competent. I have always been seen in a timely manner.

I thank the Lord for taking me to this wonderful office with this amazing Doctor, was suffering for 7 years with a horrific pain, and after visiting other Doctors in area, I felt that my problem was going to be diagnosed at death with autopsy, praise God it did not have to go that far, Doctor Rao, found the problem, performed surgery and I am pain free now, his staff is amazing, and Aracelis is an asset to this amazing office with her Bilingual/ Bi-cultural ability. I would recommend this amazing Doctor to anyone with Urology problems. Doctor Rao saw me two weeks ago, very respectful, extremely thorough and informative. Explain every step in the process of identification of my condition. All questions I had were answered in a professional manner. He as a physician gets five stars. HOWEVER, I have been waiting going on my third week for scheduling to call me for a date on my surgery. It is very difficult to arrange for someone to take me to surgery and bring me home when I can't get a date on a calendar. Voicemail says Yesenia will return my call, office staff says she no longer works there been several weeks... Please update your automated telephone system, and please call your patients back. he is terrible doctor - He made me get a yearly (4yrs in a row) CT Scan WITH CONTRAST which is the worst you can do to someone WITH ONLY ONE KIDNEY. I questioned why when my prior urologist did not prescribe with contrast dye and he said "So I can see better." He almost destroyed my remaining kidney. He does not like being asked any questions

Worst Urologist Office in Ocala. Office staff is unprofessional and down right RUDE! Don't recommend this office to anyone.

I underwent robotic surgery to have my prostate removed by Dr. Rao in 2006 and have been cancer free for over 12 years now. Side affects were very minor and I thank the good doctor for his expertise.

I have been going to Dr.Rao for approximately 2 years, basically for preventive measures. Had a kidney stone pass, and that is how I ended up in his office. Have been seeing him every six months , x-ray for stones, check PSA and prostate. Have been very pleased with every aspect of the care I am getting. I would recommend Dr.Rao to anyone in need of a Urologist.

Dr. Rao is an excellent physician. Great bedside manners and is always very patient when asking questions.

I would highly recommend Dr. Rao for any Urological condition. I had a fantastic experience. He is very professional and caring.

He's junk. Waited 1 hour 47 minutes and asked him why and he got all over my case. You're not the only patient I have. Cancelled future appointments with this "JERK". Just because he had a BAD day he should NOT take it out on his patient.

Dr. Rao provided excellent care.

Dr. Rao, is an excellent doctor. He is very friendly and very professional. He is a great listener. I totally recommend his.
