Dr. Dipanjan Banerjee

Great doctor, highly recommend him!

Dr. Dipanjan Banerjee and his team at Queen Heart Institute at Queen's Medical Center are rockstars! Dr. Banerjee, despite his busy schedule, takes time to listen to his patients and answer their questions clearly. He is thorough and provides instructions that are easy to understand - not a bunch of medical mumbo jumbo. He saw my daughter as a new patient this week and the experience with him was far, far better than the experience she received on the mainland at another medical center. This other medical center didn't think it was important for her to see a cardiologist despite her heart rate plunging to an incredibly low level after losing a third of her body weight! I can't say enough of the care and attention Dr. Banerjee and Dr. Nishant J. Trivedi at Queen's Medical Center gave my daughter. Thank You!!!

One thing I like the most about Dr. Banerjee is that he tends to exhaust every possible aggressive treatment before he considers a more aggressive approach. I wish I knew about him before my son went to see a young cardiologist at PAMF, who sent him for a catheterization just a few days after she found out about his heart disease, which as the result caused him a stroke that permanently paralyzed his whole right side of the body along with his speech capability. Just a few months after recoverIng from this tragedy that almost took his life, this same PAMF doctor wanted my son to go through another surgery to install a defibrillator. If it weren’t for Dr. Banerjee, my son would have carried this device with him and would probably continue to have it for the rest of his life, and would have to go through a surgery every 5 years or so for a battery replacement. Dr. Banerjee is so much more experienced that he could comfortably tell me on the first visit that my son didn’t need the device. He said he had patients that were worse than my son, and they’ve been doing just fine without the device.
