Dr Dipen J Parekh is a godsend. He has honed his God given talent through decades of study ,sacrifice and practice.Dr Parekh does not talk much. He does his talking through careful and conscientious,successful serious surgeries.These are the doctors I like !!. I had no doubt I was placed in the best hands.. His surgical team is AWESOME! On my initial visit Michele Blandon APRN explained what my radical porstatectomy would entail. I really loved when I heard her say" Dr Parekh will be with me from start to finish." Dr Parekh came to my pre op and asked if I was ready. I told him I was ready to be his best patient ever. He replied I will do my best. He did. And he will for you too .Lisett, another Nurse Practitioner saw me the day I was discharged home. Lisett is AWESOME ! Experienced and knowledgeable. God placed me with an incredible surgical team. Dr. Parekh us a wonderful doctor. I saw him after my urologist misdiagnosed the extent of my bladder cancer. Dr. Parekh performed a second, more comprehensive, biopsy and discovered that I had invasive and aggressive bladder cancer. After chemo, he performed a radical cystectomy in March of this year. My bladder and prostate were removed - both had cancer. My recovery has been miraculous and I am currently in remission. I am so grateful to Dr. Parekh and his terrific team. Dr. Parekh performed a second, more comprehensive, biopsy and discovered that I had invasive and aggressive bladder cancer. After chemo, he performed a radical cystectomy in March of this year. I underwent robotic kidney surgery 1 day ago and everything went so well that I’m going home soon. Result is perfect and it was no complication. I’m very grateful to Dr. Parekh and his team,particularly Lissett Oliva (NP) for her care and guidance. Thank you Dr.Parekh so much!

This allegedly experienced urologist cut my right ureter during the course of my robotic prostatectomy for prostate cancer. The injury (0.01 % of all surgeries) was not recognized until at least 10 days after my surgery, required a 2 1/2 week hospital stay and has resulted in 4 subsequent hospital admissions, a percutaneous nephrostomy with stent placement, an indwelling ureteral stent for a year changed every 3 months, and most recently a reimplant of my right ureter as a result of the stricture that formed from his original surgery My life for the past year has been a nightmare. PLEASE, if you're searching for a urologist to perform robotic surgery for prostate cancer, I strongly recommend you avoid this doctor. My robotic prostatectomy in April, 2019 was complicated by a right ureteral injury. The incidence of this complication is reported as 01%. I suffered through multiple surgical procedures and hospitalizations over the past year, most recently requiring a reimplantation of my right ureter. I do not consider a doctor who boasts thousands of robotic prostatectomies as competent and I'd like to make other potential patients aware of this doctor BEFORE they make their choice of surgeon.

Our experience with Dr. Parekh's office was the worst doctor's visit that we have ever had!!!! My husband has bladder cancer and we had high hopes that Dr. Parekh may be a "life-line" for us. We first met with his assistant who took all the relevant information. Then someone came in who had an ID that said "MD" on it. He introduced himself as the prelude to the doctor. After explaining the whole medical history to him, the "prelude" doc said that we probably wouldn't be eligible for any treatment and that we may be told to "just take your chances!" Wow, do you know what that does to a cancer patient and his family???? We went home totally devastated. There are treatments out there, but it seems that unless there are big bucks in it for the doc, they are not interested in your well-being at all! Needless to say, we stopped the consult at this point and never even stayed long enough to meet with the real doctor. Why do we need real docs if prelude docs can give out opinions

Significant complications after robotic prostatectomy that were avoidable and now cause significant changes in my life and surgery that will probably be necessary in the future. I do not recommend.

Dr. Parekh was the worst doctor I could have chosen. Please stay away from this doctor. He treated me with absolutely no compassion or even concern. When I would ask him a question, he would roll his eyes, and leave the room. He seemed always to be in a hurry and was dismissive of my questions and concerns. Worse than all this... he is a bad surgeon. He ruined my life. Stay away. I wish I had chosen another doctor. Unfortunately, I must now live with the consequences. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Dr. Parekh saved my life he performed an excellent surgical operation on me.He showed a lot compassion and interest in my medical condition. He is a great surgeon with plenty of experoence an knowledge. God bless him.

Choosing Dr. Parekh was the worst decision of my life. He is rude, completely uninterested in his patients, and a terrible surgeon. I made the worst decision of my life when I chose him! PLEASE do yourself a favor and choose someone else.

Dr. Parekh is the best! Very kind, his words put me at ease about my cancer. He saved my life! I will recommend him to others. He knows his work. I'm was praying so when i left cancer treatment center in Atlanta. Finding Dr Parekh was straight from God!

Dr. Parekh is the rudest most unprofessional doctor that I have every encounter. I am a physician myself which train at JMH 1993--1997. This man should not be the head of any department. This man spent less than 2 minutes with my husband and the treatment recommendations were totally off. We ended up driving to Pompano to see a truly spectacular doctor and human being. I would not recommend this man at all.

Dr. Parekh and his staff have been extremely professional. I trust my health in their hands with out a shadow of a doubt.
