Dr. Donald L Behrmann

I went to see Dr. Behrmann to review my MRI for daily headaches that I've had for the last 6 months. He was extremely dismissive. He stated I have cavum septum pellucidum which I've researched and agree with him isn't alarming and deadly. However he claims this is not the cause for my headaches. Instead the cause of my headaches is that I'm female and in my 30s. I understand I'm not a doctor but I find it hard to believe that my sudden daily headaches popped up because I turned a year older. He told me to consider if I'm under a lot of stress. I feel incredibly insulted. I've considered the stress levels, allergies, and other environmental things that could have caused the daily headaches already and did not just jump to extremes. There was no concern for the pain and exhaustion that I've been dealing with for the last 6 months and was advised to see a neurologist for pain maintenance. I was so offended and upset to be dismissed so easily. I'm in my early 30s with daily headaches, that's not normal or ok! But apparently it's just how it is. Really? I had next surgery done in 2007 by Dr. Berhmann magnificent brilliant neurosurgeon . It’s time to go back for my lower spine I put my faith in his hands

Dr. Behrmann is a caring and talented Doctor. His expertise as a neurosurgeon reduced my pain to enable me to lead a normal life. Thank you.

Dr. Behrmann didn't spend much time with me, he was in and out within about 5 minutes. Didn't explain why he couldn't help me and just said to see a chiropractor. I have 4 herniated discs in my neck, 4 herniated discs in my lower back with a annular tear in my L5 S1. I left the office very upset, crying and feeling helpless. Shame on you!

Did not take thentime to look at my mri told me my reports were exaggerated and i only had a few bulges meanwhile im staring at a picture of my l4-l5 disc completly out on both sides. I have no insurance and on LOP so i guess he just doesnt want to get paid 20 centd on the dollar

There is no other doctor that I would trust with my spine. I have a bad back, is what it is. Dr. Behrmann has operated on me 3 times, in 2 weeks my fourth, through no fault of his own. Every time I wake up and the pain is gone and I can function properly. I love this man and his staff with all of my heart. I work a very physical job and thanks to him I can return to full capacity every time. God bless him, Amy and Lynette. There is no other doctor that I would trust with my spine. This is probably the absolute worst front office I’ve dealt with. Appointments are cancelled by office attendants the day before theyre scheduled. When you call, you immediately get a five minute voicemail. It then sends you to “the front desk” which is a vm 90% of the time. You’ll get text messages to confirm appointments that are not yours, had initial appointment 10/18, still have not seen Dr. three months later 1/19. Terrible! Excruciating pain! Doctor probably doesn’t know I exist

Dr Behrmann and his entire staff are extremely helpful and caring. I recently had a cervical discectomy and fusion with them and It was easy to trust them because everything was explained so well. It is 2 weeks post surgery and I am doing much better than I thought I would. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Behrmann is the best doctor I have ever had. He saved my life in 2005 by removing a golf ball size tumor from spinal cord. He was amazing. I have a very physical job and have not missed a beat due to surgery. I highly recommend him!

Dr Behrmann and Lynette are absolutely an amazing team. I had spine surgery with Dr. B on Friday and I am feeling incredible. I left the hospital the next day and have already been up and about- even last minute Christmas shopping. Lynette work diligently to get my surgery done before the end of the year and she did! I can’t thank you both enough Dr B- I can feel my hands again - all because of you! You’re my miracle. Thank you, Jodi Dr Behrmann and Lynette are absolutely an amazing team. Dr. Behrmann has done 2 cervical spine fusions and will be doing a third in 3 months. He may also be doing intensive lumbar surgery in the future. He is an excellent doctor, great bedside manner and has excellent assistants and office personnel. I highly recommend him for any surgical needs. His administrative assistant is fantastic, very quick, thorough and excellent at meeting your needs.

From My initial meeting at the Florida Hospital, Dr Behrmann and his team were Wonderfull.

It is 2 weeks post surgery and I am healing well, better than I ever expected. I would recommend him to anyone.

Skin incision used for lumbar fusion procedure did not heal after 10 weeks and was extremely painful during this time period. Dr. Behrmann would not see me during this time, instead having his assistants see me, despite repeated requests. After 10 weeks skin incision was finally repaired surgically. Almost 6 months following procedure pain relief is little if any.

Spine surgery is a scary thought but working with Dr. Behrmann made me feel confident, secure and totally trustworthy of his capabilities as a surgeon and a caring Doctor. His nurses were terrific to work with and his P.A. spend an abundant amount of time answering my questions and making sure I understood the entire process.

Dr. Behrmann and his staff are efficient and very professional both at his office and during my hospital stay. I am grateful for my good results and I attribute that to a lot of prayer and his expertise. I have already recommended him to several people!

Very professional and detailed Doctor, likes conservative treatment first and therapies. I am still receiving outpatient services, office visits, not surgery experience yet, but my friend had back surgery with him and stated that he is a good neurosurgeon.
