I had Frozen Shoulder - all the younger doctors sent me to physical therapy. Dr. Fareed is an absolute specialist in this area. April 2009 he performed double shoulder surgery - over a decade later - full range of motion - no pain. Cured! Proud to be along side tennis great Pete Sampras on the cured list.

My experience with Dr. Fareed and his staff was amazing. Dr. Fareed has a unique approach to his practice that I appreciate. Dr. Fareed engaged me in a deep conversation about the history of my knee pain to gain a better diagnosis and treatment method. The conversations and examination with his hands on my ailing knee gave us a good idea of what needed to be done to cure my pain. The staff is very helpful and accommodating with scheduling appointments and surgeries. After my knee arthroscopy, I am well on my way to recovery and living my best life again. Overall, I had a very professional and satisfactory experience with Dr. Fareed and staff.

No x-rays - no MRIs in my case. The words out; Dr. Fareed has magical hands. He felt my shoulder and manipulated arm and gave me the diagnosis. This was followed up by injections - If you have suffered with pain, discomfort and waking up in the night, buy a plane ticket and schedule an appointment with Dr. Fareed in Santa Barbara (and have a little vacation to boot.) At 65 I enjoy tennis, weightlifting and core work, so the docs treatment even more appreciated at keeping me in "the game"
