PLEASE Don’t go here if you need care for your loved one with dementia. They refused to prescribe medication to my mom that was helping her. After I called to ask if they could prescribe it they said she would have to come in. We took her and they said she would have to get it from a neurologist. That’s for wasting our time! I will be looking for a more accommodating clinic who understands dementia patients.

We love this clinic.. so peaceful and helpful. I'm 72 and have used Deer Park clinic since 1961.. We love both Andrew Metz and his dad Donald Metz.. give them a try if your looking for Drs that are very professional and care for their patients..

Dr. Metz and his staff are great. I have never had an issue with anyone there and even when I did not have insurance one of the doctor's told me about Good RX to help save money on my prescription.

I got hurt at work and seen Dr.Metz five times and each visit he told me and my safety zero restrictions, it’ll work itself out. Because of my elbow still swollen and his negligence my employer sent me home telling me I can’t come back till I get cleared from my own Doctor. My Doctor sent me to a specialist were I had two shots into my elbow and now on four medications with restrictions......now can’t go back to work! I love Dr. Metz! He always makes time to answer all of my questions, and I never feel rushed. I couldn't ask for better care.

We tried to send them medical records THREE times. They kept saying they didn't receive it. My previous doctor had confirmation papers. Another time we had an appt. they had me call the insurance company FROM THE LOBBY because they said my son's birthdate was unverified! After getting voicemail the office told me to tell them "just try again." After giving up and going elsewhere I was told it was because I had twins! THAT through them off??? Bottom line: never saw the doc! Too much red tape!

Schedule a checkup that should have been covered by my insurance, but because I did not say the word wellness to the lady scheduling my appointment I was charged $109.08. I have reached out to the Office Manager (Amy) per the instruction from United Health Care but she will not return my call. Great Doctors at this office but front desk/Appointment clerk are very rude people. I will never step a foot back in this office nor will I recommend them to anyone.

At least 8-12 visits here, between me, my wife, and daughter. Minimum wait of an hour, and have waited up to 3 hours before even seeing a doctor (If your lucky). Usually a PA. Won't be going back, today was the final straw. P.S. once you see a doctor, the visit feels rushed with no real empathy.
