He is the Best urologist in Saint Pete. Donna the nurse is incredible. All staff is excellent

I Totally, 100%, appreciate Dr Morris and his staff! Dr. Morris took his time, listen to me, explained everything, is very kind, and gave me all the information I needed with options for my recovery. The mini procedures were painless and easy. The staff was genuinely helpful and friendly!! It's very hard to find a doctor's office like this and I would highly recommend Dr. Morris.

Dr. Morris certainly cares about his patients, but he is so "old school" that it negatively affects the quality of the treatment that he provides. He refuses to communicate with patients in any of the modern ways; whether through a portal, telehealth, or simply talking to a patient on the phone. I asked him what to do if I had a question after the appointment, and he handed me a note card that I was supposed to write my questions on- while waiting for the next time I would see him in several weeks. He also forced me to come back multiple times for tests that could have been done during one visit. That approach might suit his practice's financial goals, but is not convenient for patients. Bottom line: Dr Morris' old school approach inconveniences patients and makes it harder for them to get answers to questions about their treatment. Don’t go there , Dr Morris doesn’t listen, it’s either his way or the highway. He was too stubborn to have me go for a cystoscopy despite the fact all my Lab work , ct scans and ultra sounds were ok. He said we need to do this procedure in case I have stones, , I didn’t believe that cause even a tenth grader knows CT scan can detect stones and cystoscopy is not needed. He then mentioned I may have polyps but chances are one percent , really ?? He wants me to go for such an invasive procedure which may cause stricture just to rule out polyps existence. My doc overseas warned me about having this procedure (cystoscopey) and I tried to explain my concern to dr Morris about the major ramifications of such a procedure but he didn’t listen and it was always his way. One more thing, two days before the procedure date I called the office and spoke to Missy, one of the assistants at the office, she told me the doc is very passionate and she suggested I come to talk to him to discuss other options , of course we canceled the cystoscopy procedure on the phone. Surprisingly when I came to the office , Dr Morris was ready to have me do the procedure (cystoscopy)despite the fact I was supposed to hear other options from him as I was promised by his assistant, but he disregarded every concern I had. I tried to explain to him such procedure may have serious ramifications in short or long run, but no one was listening. I am not saying he is a bad doc but I don’t think he is the right for me. I am one of those patients who like to think twice before going through any invasive procedure and won’t have a doc blindfold me and have him lead the way for me , sorry . I am not that type of patient After three weeks I went to a different practice in St Pete, Baycare Medical group , I was diagnosed with over active bladder and doc confirmed it to me I don’t need to go for invasive tests (cystoscopy) until we see how my bladder reacts to the new meds . He ruled out I have a stricture and stones , which Dr Morris was suspecting I may have. I explained to my new doc I have poor bowel movement and he said that could be another factor causing my urinary symptoms One last thing : I refused to pay for my last visit since I felt I was mislead and Missy was ok with that. I do not agree with any of the negative reviews in here. First of all I tell the truth - I do not sugarcoat anything I write, and I have been to 2 other urologists in my life and this doctor and his "Staff" go up and beyond the call of duty. Ms Donna is wonderful and always there for a painful situation and Missy is top notch in what she does as well. Dr Morris is one of the best doctors I have ever been too. He will not just hand you a script and see you off. He really cares about his patients. He has taken care of my mother for over 20 years and she also loves him. I would recommend him to anyone. WORST DOCTOR EVER MY MOTHER IS A CANCER PATIENT WITH CHRONIC KIDNEY INFECTION WAS AT THE HOPSITAL FOR 2 WEEKS HAD STENTS PUT IN BY DR MORRIS AND WAS NEVER VISITED BY DR MORRIS AFTERWARDS SHE ONLY SAW HIM BEFORE BEING PUT TO SLEEP NOW SHE IS HAVING SYMPTOMS AGAIN MADE AN APPT WITH DR MORRIS WAITIED A WHOLE WEEK AND THEN THE LAST DAY THEY SAID DR MORRIS DOES NOT WANT TO SEE HER BECAUSE SHE IS "DIFFICULT" AND IS SUGGESTING THAT SHE GOES TO USF SO STUDENTS CAN LEARN ON HER HE ONLY SAW HER IN THE OPERATING ROOM AND YET SHE IS DIFFICULT I HATE HIM I HOPE HE GETS TO THE POINT OF NEEDING AND HELP AND GETS A A$$ LIKE HIM!! First off the lab technician who came in to draw my blood at my appt did NOT know what he was doing and that is probably what lead to this! I told him that no one is ever able to get any blood from the middle of my arm (the normal place on the opposite side of your elbow). He still thought he would be the hero of the day and try. Didn't get it. Had to stick me TWO more times. So I got a bill for these labs! Missy (office manager supposedly) called me back regarding the bill that I was sent after seeing this doctor. Their office sent my labs to the wrong facility! It says specifically on my insurance card which insurance I have! She says "it's not a normal insurance" and I should have known to let them know that I need a lab requisition to have my labs drawn somewhere else. It's their mistake. Whoever put in my insurance in at the front desk, or the lab tech should be well educated as to which insurance goes to which lab so that their patients DO NOT receive outrageous bills. I also work at a clinic and if these mistakes are made on our staffs part, WE PAY! I enter insurance information ALL THE TIME. The should have this documented "as they will now for the future"! Their staff is under educated and they do not care. She told me to go to another doctor if I didn't like the care I receive there or didn't like the way they do things there. great nurse... super office staff.. organized and KIND i cannot believe i found such a thorough but NOT over the top doctor who listens and puts you at EASE... he is a FIND!!!

Wife was able to get a same day appointment due to a cancellation for recurring kidney infections. Two tests performed two days later with results and a planned regimen to find out what was causing the recurrence. Previous doctors handed a script of antibiotics and walked out the door, not Dr. Morris. He consulted with us for a more than average time for most doctors assuring our questions were answered and his course of action understood. We left with confidence that he was truly interested in and capable of getting to the root of the problem, not just trying to get to next patient. After struggling with persistent UTIs, Dr. Morris finally performed procedures and medications to prevent this recurring problem. His office is well run, his staff is polite and professional. He listens to patients and seems to really care about their well being. Further, if I call and say that I have a problem, they get me in that day or the next. I have a friend who survived bladder cancer and she agrees, that Dr. Morris is a fine doctor with great people working for him. I do not agree with anything said the negative reviews. I'm stunned to read the two reviews here. Dr. Morris seemed like he would have taken all afternoon to answer my questions. He performed a procedure to heat my prostate, which shrinks it. I went from peeing every 20 minutes and not sleeping well to making 5 hour car trips with no problem. I traveled from Leon County To Pinellas county to get this procedure because it isn't offered here. He told me that the process was more art than science and he did 3 a week. It is obvious that this man is in the business only for the money He schedules so close he was never on time for appointments. I was on a examining table for two hours one time, and an hour another time, waiting while he jogged up and down the halls seeing others. Each exam always gave reason for another exam.
