Dr. Donald Alan Weimer

Dr. Weimer is an outstanding surgeon! He has helped me with my knee problems and it has changed my life! I would highly recommend him to everyone for knee and shoulder issues. The office staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Terrible terrible bedside manners. I honestly have never been to a doctor that was more dismissive of patient concerns. He spent approximately 2 minutes in the room didn't even bother to do a physical examination- for a shoulder issue. Would not recommend.

If there were more stars, I would rate him even higher. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Weimer. He is kind, and thorough...and knows all the latest options for orthopedic issues. He has helped both me and my husband...and it was pretty painless!

I would really like to get an appointment with Dr. Weimer. He comes highly recommended. I am having some trouble getting a referral. I called the office for help and the woman I talked to was so rude, I don't know if I will call back. I am very upset. Bedside manner from the office staff isn't god. If this is how patients are treated at this practice, I probably should look elsewhere. I do not appreciate being berated and talked down too. This happened at 9 am on 11/21/18.

I have thought about Donald Weimer every day for the past five years. In 2013 I fell and broke my right leg (femur) during an ice storm and was taken to Memorial Hospital emergency where Weimer did the "repair." My right leg is about one inch shorter then it was before my fall and his repair. That throws my hips and spine out of alignment making any extended standing or walking painful. Weimer has since moved to St. Elizabeth's. His new office says they have no record of this in the system.

Had word done on my shoulder after another surgeon attempted to fix my issue a few years prior. Turns out plenty of items were missed with my other doctor. Dr. Weimar was very easy to work with and professional. He has now worked on 6 coworkers in my office and he will continue to be referred too.
