I been suffering from allergies past 6 years and tried almost everything , from ENT specialist to allergist and medications including Nasal spray and steroids and then 1 visit to Dr Chau is like miracle I was looking for .. she was very thorough and Finally After 1 month of using just Nasal spray she prescribed. It all got better .. I am not using any more medication or Nasal spray so far .. Best allergist in Staten Island .. would highly recommend to everyone .. Dr Chau is one of the most thorough doctor's I have ever met. I am so grateful I found her and highly recommend her. I haven't met one team member at ENT Teleport Drive who wasn't highly professional and courteous.

I've been seeing Dr. Chau for 7 yrs. because I have serious food allergies. Dr. Chau has always been patient with my questions. When I was in the ER for an allergic reaction, she checked on me often, called me at home 2x later in the evening to see how I was progressing, and followed up the next day. She is generous with her time and is one of the kindest doctors I've met. I highly recommend her.

The experience in the office and waiting room has been extremely negative far outweighing the doctor’s competency. We’ve seen Dr Chau for 2 years for our 2 children since they were infants and each time we’ve had to wait for over 90 minutes before being seen (extremely inconvenient especially when waiting with a toddler)

Be sure to inquire about costs before doing anything. I had an ENT for years who retired who also handled testing. I went to Dr. Chau wanting to continue allergy shot for 3 known seasonal triggers. They insisted on doing own testing. This included many things I did not want or request. In the end $750 for allergy test, $275 for still unknown test, and then $250 for the 5 mins to tell me about the allergies I walked in knowing I had. Basically $1250. Google skin allergy test and $300 or so pop up, I use to pay $275 and there are places that will charge a few dollars per requested allergen. In my case, I could have gotten what I needed for under $100 bucks. I had plenty of tests throughout years, my issue was known. I now have been told one test not valid (after 3 months) so that redo should cost me another $200 bucks for either their or testing methods mistake, not mine. OK, so say you are insane and still remain, you are now $1450 in and finally get to what you wanted; the shot. That will be $90 and 3 separate shots. For years I took 1 shot that treated all for $30. Obviously need to find another place and more than likely will amend payment to 'customary' charges. Be sure to inquire about costs before doing anything. Allergy test was performed smoothly and I felt comfortable the entire time. Doctor took time to listen to my needs and explain the test. Would highly recommend!

Dr.Chau was given to us by default which is part of the problem. We felt like she was very disorganized, lack of records keeping, no knowledge of working with kids, she seemed very annoyed by all our questions and gave us very quick generic replies. In conclusion she said your son needs 4 allergy shots per week which scared u. We asked her if we can do injections by our family doctor she talked my wife out, got the feeling she was loosing business. Also she failed to tell us about alternatives
