Dr. Allen is an amazing Gynocologist. I just had laparoscopic hysterectomy surgery and it went exceptionally well. I highly recommend Dr. Allen as a gynecologist and as a surgeon.

Dr. Allen is amazing! He is one of the few doctors I’ve met that takes the time to answer my questions and doesn’t rush me out of the office. He made me feel comfortable enough to have my second baby after a very traumatic experience with a provider from a different practice that scared me away from it for a long time. When it came to the day for my c section, he was just as great. He talked me through some parts of the procedure without freaking me out even more than I already naturally was. I had an emergency hysterectomy Christmas Eve day due to a very large uterine fibroid. I was very fortunate that he happened to be on call at American Fork Hospital. My recovery has been amazing and the after care I've received from Dr Allen has been wonderful. His skills saved my life and his kindness and care helped me through a traumatic event. I have found Dr Allen to be attentive. I feel he informed me well. I feel he listened to and throughly answered all questions. I have just had surgery and he prepared me for it and again answered all questions. I did have a bit longer of a wait the morning of my surgery due to one of Dr Allen's patients going into labor prior to my scheduled time. He did send word and I certainly did not mind waiting to start surgery while the miracle of a new one entering the world was going on. I was actually glad that this woman was able.to have HER doctor deliver her baby!

Doctor Allen has been my OB for about 4 years and I just feel so lucky that I found him to take care of me and my babies. He delivered my daughter and I had the best experience throughout my whole pregnancy in general. He will listen to you, take every question seriously and guide you with his expertise without imposing anything. He accommodated all of my choices during labor and delivery and he was very respectful and made me feel safe. He also educates himself constantly and does a lot of reading on the most recent medical information. You can be sure that any answers to your questions will be very updated and well informed. I have always loved Dr. Allen!! My previous OB/GYN had retired after I had my last baby in 2010. I was looking for a new doctor and actually found out I was pregnant in 2017. I wish I would have found Dr. Allen sooner because he’s always made me feel like my concerns were valid and he goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable/informed. My pregnancy in 2010 was difficult and scary. It made me 10x more cautious and worried when I got pregnant again. I never once felt dumb discussing my concerns or issues with Dr. Allen though. He truly is a doctor that I would recommend to anyone and I wish more OB/GYN’s could be like him. I am going to be heartbroken when he does retire because it’s so hard to find such amazing care from such an amazing and kind person! ❤️ I have always loved Dr. Allen!! Dr Allen is a very caring Dr, I felt he took the time to listen to all my questions and concerns and I felt he gave clear expectations. I didn’t mind a few appointment with longer wait times because I felt he was giving the same care to other patients making sure all their questions were met.

I just had my first baby and Dr. Allen was the best Dr I could have had to help me bring my son into the world. He will listen to how your are feeling about delivery. I was having complications and I told him I really feel like we need to get induced earlier than expected. After I explained why I felt this way, after some consideration and checking my cervix he called the hospital and I was omitted in the next day. I was in labor for 8 hours and then my son come 45 minutes later at 37 weeks and 3 day gestational and he weighed 8 lbs and 1oz. I am so happy Dr Allen was there to listen to me because if I had waited until my due my son would have been 10 lbs or more. I will be seeing Dr. Allen again for my next baby in a few years. Dr. Allen is the actual BEST. He is sweet, kind and LISTENS to you and he trusts your instincts too. Dr. Allen delivered my youngest via C-Section. He stayed to help clean me up after he delivered my baby. THIS NEVER HAPPENS EVER. One of the nurses that was there said that Dr Allen used to be a nurse himself and always stayed to help the nurses. Dr Allen is always very sweet and caring as well as professional. He is very good at making patients feel calm and comfortable, even during labor and delivery! I would absolutely recommend him! He has delivered both of my babies and every experience I’ve had with him has been wonderful.

Five stars is not enough! I could not have asked for a better doctor to help me through my last pregnancy and delivery. Under the care of Dr. Allen I never felt rushed as if I were just another patient to see. With my pregnancy being high risk, he worked through all of my questions and concerns with patience and compassion which brought me a great comfort and peace of mind that I was in good hands. Dr. Allen did an incredible job during delivery to maintain a calm demeanor when challenges arose. He ensured that I was cared for and very closely monitored my baby. I had a great experience seeing Dr. Allen for my first baby. He is kind and really cares about his patients. He completely supported my birth plan and Helped me adjust when complications arose. He also backed me up when a nurse didn’t agree with my birth preferences which I really appreciated. Dr. Allen was willing to come in and deliver my baby in the middle of the night even though he was not on call. I’m really impressed with Dr. Allen and will be recommending him to my friends. I wish there more doctors like Doctor Allen, he is caring and very compassionate. He listens to you and make you feel as if you had a say in your own care. I had a second VBAC with him. There were some complication, while many other doctor would have rushed me to a C-section, Doctor Allen spent time with me and the midwife, he was always patient giving my body a chance to act while making sure my baby and I were safe. I have not seen Dr. Allen for over 2 years, but the few times I did meet with him, he was very kind and compassionate. He just wasn’t the right fit for what I needed from an OBGYN at the time. He did help me navigate my first miscarriage and was knowledgeable enough to check my progesterone levels so I was able to get on supplements with my two next pregnancies so I could carry them to term. I am so very grateful for that! The issues I do have with Revere and Dr. Allen’s office is that their billing is a complete NIGHTMARE. I have been charged by Revere in the past for services that I didn’t have done and they never bill my insurance first. I always have to call and have them bill my insurance. Second, I have received nearly 10 phone calls over the past 2 years that I am due for my annual visit with Dr. Allen. I have told them at least 4 times that I am no longer seeing Dr Allen and to please take me off their lists. They assure me each time that they will. I received another voicemail today and I’m annoyed at this point, hence this review. I would encourage Dr. Allen’s office to figure out their calling lists and communication! Dr. Allen is a good, experienced doctor. He performed my c section and did a great job. He doesn't remember you, though, and he's so busy it takes over an hour over your appointment time to see him. He's spread too thin because he's the best doctor in the clinic. I saw Dr. Young once and was very underwhelmed. I also see the midwives and the only one ever available is Jenny. She also doesn't remember who you are and you have to remind her what you talked about the last time. I mean, just freaking write notes about your conversations! How hard is that? So, while the care is good and they are careful with testing accuracy and the health of your baby, they don't make you feel important. He was my doctor during my second pregnancy and I found him after a lot of research. I had a C-section with my first baby and needed a doctor who would help me with my choice to have a VBAC. He was absolutely wonderful! Never pressured me to set a "just in case" C-section date and listened to my concerns about positioning. During labor he was attentive and even though he wasn't there for the actual delivery (he had to be in salt lake for a once a month military meeting...unlucky timing) he stayed as long as he could. I ended up with a successful VBAC in large part because of his help during labor and was genuinely happy for me after delivery. If I hadn't moved I would want him to deliver all of my babies. He placed my cerclage, helped me navigate gestational diabetes & kept a close watch on me as I had high blood pressure my entire pregnancy. I love Dr Allen so very much. He was amazing during the birth of my still born son (he was the Dr on call for the clinic, I had not met him before that.) I decided to continue seeing him after that because of his kind and compassionate nature. He then delivered my next (healthy!) baby and also was my primary care for a year postpartum. When I go for my annual physical, Dr. Allen is very kind and answers all of my questions. He has a lot of knowledge. He is very kind and pays attention to me and I do not feel he is rushing me. Four years ago, I was impressed when he personally called me to tell me I had breast cancer. Fortunately, we caught it early from a mammogram and it was small and slow growing. I highly recommend him to others and am glad I am going to him.

Dr. Allen is the sweetest man. I could really tell that he cared about me and my baby by the way he listened and answered my questions. I had a tough pregnancy and my other doctor didn’t really listen to how sick I was and as such I didn’t get the best treatment that I should have. I switched to Dr. Allen towards the end of my pregnancy and I told Dr. Allen how sick I had been and his response was, “Wow, it sounds like you have had a really tough pregnancy.” He was verifying what I said and letting me know that he was listening. He always went the extra mile to make sure I had the care, labor, and delivery I wanted. When my epidural wasn’t working quite right, he stood up for me and sent the anesthesiologist back in to give me something else. I 100% recommend! Best OBGYN!
