I would highly encourage anyone with questionable fertility issues to seek care from a specialist. Dr. Macgregor’s office billed my insurance as infertility after one non-clinical doctors visit in which we just conversated about my health. As a result future claims were denied. I called back and asked the diagnosis to be changed until testing proved otherwise and the office refused. His dad was a great doctor who even delivered me and my aunt was his dad’s nurse for years, but Dr. Douglas MacGregor Jr. is arrogant and irresponsible. Please save yourself the heartache! He did a good c-section, but brushed off concerns. When my son was born at 4 1/2 pounds, he didn't do any follow up work (like sending the placenta to a lab to figure out what was wrong) ... He said "some babies are just small". We'll never know what happened, but my subsequent children weighed twice as much, so clearly something was wrong. The medical assistant (!) accused me of drinking during pregnancy and said my son had FAS (I didn't drink, except after he was born).
