Dr. Douglas Richard Reich

I took my 2 year old here to assess cavities and have not a single bad remark to leave about this place. I will recommend them to any and everyone. The entire staff was very friendly, informative, patient, and empathetic. The environment was very clean and kid friendly. My oldest daughter began having teeth issues when she was just one year old. Before seeing Dr. Reich, I was taking her to Doc Bresler’s and had a very bad experience . While looking for a new pediatric dentist, my mother-in-law suggested the dentist she used for my fiancé when he was young. I wish I could give 5000 stars for Dr. Reich, he is an absolutely amazing, caring, and above all, patient pediatric dentist. Both me and my children absolutely adore him, especially my oldest with all her past trauma with dental work, so even though I had to drive 25 minutes for my children to see him, I always did, because he was worth it. Buttttt, This wouldn’t be a one star review if I kept gushing over my favorite pediatric dentist. So, this is where the one star comes in. I now have three children, all three of them, my youngest only knowing Dr. Reich, have been seeing him for almost 5 years. 2021 was not a good year for me, by anyyyy means. I had a death in the family, I had gotten into a severe car accident that I am still in physical therapy for, not only did I have Covid twice, but my children were tested positive as well. Not long after all this was going on in my life, I got a certified letter delivered to me that I had to sign for. The letter was from Dr. Reich’s office, stating that my children were no longer welcome to be patients with Dr. Reich because of three missed appointments. I have tried multiple times to reach out, the receptionist are not only rude, but I know many of them have children of their own. How can you deny children for missing a dental appointment, when I take FULLL responsibility. Not only that, but my reasonings for having to miss the appointments were more than valid. Both me, My fiancé, and my sister, have reached out to Dr. Reich’s office asking if there was anything we could do to keep our children with his practice. We offered to pay for the missed appointments, I even offered to pay to hold a spot for my children to be seen by Dr. Reich. I cannot believe the disappointment that I feel for not only me, but my children as well. Again, I absolutely adore Dr. Reich, but to deny children dental care when they’ve been a patient of yours for so long, is down right cruel to me. I have given Dr. Reich many referrals, anytime someone posts on social media for a pediatric dentist, I always recommend him first. I am just beyonddd upset that my children will not be able to see him anymore, I think this could’ve been handled way better. Also, I received this “reminder” post card on March 2, 2022. It was sent out on 2/25/22, as you can see from the post marked stamp. This reminder was sent out almost 2 months after they sent me the certified mail stating my children could no longer go to the practice. They don’t allow you to go back into the dentist area with your children. I was also denied service because I would not agree for them to sell my information.

I used to love this place. But i was told my children can no longer come back all bc i missed ONE appointment this year and 2 back in 2019!!! They kicked my kids out of their office for missed appointments from 2 years ago! That’s ridiculous! I will never recommend them to anyone again! It’s a shame bc the dentist is a nice man! The staff is super pleasant they treat the children with so much kindness. The doctor was so gentle with my son's procedure that he was able to sleep throughout it! I recommend this place to every and anyone with dental needs for their children.

First there is some arcade games u can play for free. There is two. Next they talk with you and sometimes they can relate to u. I recommend if you want a fun time in the dentist. :)

I called to schedule an appointment for my daughter and what sounded to be an older woman answered the call and was extremely rude to me. She insisted I give her the policy holder's ss# which is the father of my daughter with whoom I have no contact. I explained my situation and offered her his birth date and the insurance information including her secondary insurace but she was rude, abrupt, impatient and outright nasty. She would not answer any of my questions or help me in any which way. "Get me his SS# number and call me back and if you can't do that I can't schedule her an appointment." My experience here started out great Dr.Reich himself seems like a kind and patient person however my encounters with other staff at this office were not pleasant. I took my daughter for a quick tooth cleaning at a Ronald McDonald mobile office (as suggested by my insurance company) here they discovered an abscess and they insisted it needed to be pulled they even worked through their lunch to make sure this infection didnt get any worse. When they were done they told me to get in touch with my family dentist to have my daughter fitted for a spacer. When I had called the office to schedule the appointment I spoke with an older woman who refused to make my appointment and said they would no longer be taking my daughter because we had work done outside their office. In my search for a new office I was repeatedly told this was wrong and not normal and that I should report it to my insurance company. Following their advice as professionals I did exactly that. I was later contacted by my insurance who told me the woman they spoke to at the office flat out lied and no such thing had ever happened! Which is ridiclious considering all the trouble I went through to find a new dentist. Not only is this dishonest but it is extremely immature. In summary I will restate that Dr. Reich himself is a very nice doctor and he is good with kids however it's the front end staff that I would be careful with if you insist on using this office. If I could I would give this place no stars the employees are very rude and have a nasty attitude they don’t talk to you like your in a professional environment and than when you return the attitude your in the wrong I simply was upset because they wanted to perform a service on my child And didn’t want me to come back there which is eye opening as a parent who really cares about my child what are you hiding I hear all types of horror stories about dentist and wanted to also support my child in her time of getting the procedure they went as far as cancelling my appointment without notifying me if your child is going here or will be going in the future please be mindful about this type of place it is a private practice so if anything was to happen to your child there is no upper person to contact even the supervisor is very nasty they even got paid by my insurance in advance and cancelled my appointment I took off work and this place is 45 mins from my home I came all the way down here just to be told my appointment was cancelled. Absolute Horrible. Staff is unprofessional. Came in today with an appointment at 2:00, and they said that I wasn't in the schedule; that I needed to wait for the next available opening. Place is small and crammed with people all the time. Total disregard of one's personal time.

Sharon is very kind and thorough when providing important information about the practice. Dr. Reich is very friendly.

I have been taking my children to this dentist for years .Dr Reich is excellent and umderstanding of your questions .His staff was very helpful to me i wouldnt go anywhere else .

This office is wonderful. They were so helpful when we were having trouble with a change in insurance. I have one child with extreme anxiety over dental visits and she loves Dr. Reich.

I love it here... my children had a dentist that ended up scaring them at age 3&4 so I found doctor Reich and have been using him and my kids like going to the dentist now, my children are now 15&16. Dr Reich looks like Santa, is always happy and nice to the children.... I love coming here.

The worst dentist i ever experienced. Rude employees, they treated my one yr old terrible. I wouldnt allow my worst enemy to subject their child to this place!!!!!

When I went to this dentist office, I couldn't open my mouth wider then it already was. I simply told a female dentist that and she said "well that won't be very useful for you in the future" I am a 12 year old female and then they laughed at my X-ray of my tooth.

My mom has been taking me here from 0-13 and I still love it. The dentists know what they’re doing yet make it fun and pain free

Very nice staff! I love calling this office for my son's appointments. They work with you they are so nice and the dentist is so friendly and great with kids. They have a nice CLEAN office and a cool play house the kids can climb inside. I have and will continue to refer friends and family to Dr. Reich. There is not enough to say about the doctor and his staff. My children are so excited to go to the dentist.

I've been taking my children here for years and i can't say enough positive things about this practice.

I LOVE THIS DENTIST AND SO DOES MY DAUGHTER SHE LOOKS FORWARD TO HER APPOINTMENTS . THEY ARE SWEET RECEPTIONIST THEY WORK IN FAST TIMING FRAME A NICE PLAY AREA WHERE ALL KIDS SMiLE AND HAVE FUN WITH ONE ANOTHER

My daughter has been going to this dentist since she was a toddler, she is now 14. She needs braces, but is not happy about it. So today we go into the office for a 6 month checkup. After the exam, I ask the dentist weather or not I will need a referal to see an orthodontist. The dentist turns to me saying that my daughter needs braces, and I don't need a referal. Then he says "If she doesn't want them, you shouldn't get them." and something along the lines of "why fight with her if she doesn't want them." Excuse me? I am her mother and a 14 year old child does not make her own decisions in regards to her medical wellbeing. She is a juvenile dependant, not an adult. Needless to say, we will be finding a new dentist who will answer questions about my childs health without underminding my role as a parent in front of my child. If you are the kind to cancel 3 out of 4 appointments at the last minute Then this office isn't for you. I asked if I needed a referal for my daughter see an orthodontist. My daughter doesn't want them. He told me she needs braces but I shouldn't force her if she doesn't want them. My CHILD is a juvenile dependant, not an adult. She is not old enough to make her own medical decisions. I do not appriciate being undermined as a parent in front of my child. Answer my questions and care for her teeth, that is what my insurance pays you to do.

Ihave been bringing my son to Dr.Reich for 3 years now. My son is developmentally delayed & has a severe speech delay. The nurses here are amazing with making him & myself feel comfortable. Dr. Reich the gentlist dentist i ever came across. I wish he took adult patients.
