Very thorough, great staff. He spends time with you not rushed. Old fashion family doctor. His wife works in the office she is always helpful and pleasant.

Scheduled an appointment they called day before telling me I owe them cash 150 dollars and a three hundred dollar deductible. Said I could see it on my card pulled out my card it's not there she claims they don't need my service. I guess they must be getting paid to much to have clients absolutely worst customer service ever don't go here save yourself the stress they are only out for cash you are not going to find a good health provider here. Found a great provider right up the road dr. Dhaliwal staff is super friendly get you in right away I would try there first I'm going to tell everyone in npr about the way I was treated today by these women. Also you can just read his replies to other reviews and see how him and his staff treat people. I probably would have saved the stress if I had.

During all visits Dr. Wert has been reassuring, thorough, patient. There needs to be a bond with a doctor and Dr. Wert incourages this. He was there in the hospital every day for a week visiting. I hope to never have to go to a new personal Doctor. Every day I thank God for Dr. Wert.

I saw Dr Wert yesterday and I am giving two stars since he did address some issues. However, he ignored the fact that I have a very painful rash and referred me to pain management. I don't need pain management, just something until this painful rash feels a little better. He said my EKG was fine but referred me to a cardiologist. I think he needs to retire because his bedside manner is bad. He told me to get dressed twice even though I was already dressed. I have been going to Dr. Wert for many years now, except when insurance changed at work. Now retired, I go to him even though he isn't on my current plan. I love his staff, his wife, Nancy is a real sweetheart and Dr. Wert takes the best care of me. I never feel rushed or hurried.

Amazing Doctor and friendly staff

Dr. Wert is an excellent doctor who takes exceptional care of his patients. He is extremely thorough and takes his time with each individual case/patient. I highly recommend him for a PCP if you want quality care and treatment.

I would highly recommend Dr. Wert as your primary care physician.

Hands down absolute worst doctor I have seen in 62 years most of which I spent in the field of Nursing. For a doctor that takes both Medicare and Medicaid you are really see another patient waiting to see him yet you always have a minimum 20-minute wait for him to call you. The equipment in his office is absolutely antiquated. The office is so extremely warm I was almost passing out. The ceiling in the back office is falling down or was at the time I saw him. The office staff is so rude probably the rudest I have ever dealt with. He had ordered blood work on me that came back with panic level values. I had to call his office about this and was told by his wife I could not see him for 3 weeks as they were preparing to leave for vacation the following week! He had has nobody who covers him when he is not in the office. I had already had doubts about his knowledgeability as to me he appeared on several occasions to be mildly confused. He has medical assistant with him at all times writing down everything for him. But the final straw was his lack of follow-up on the lab values that thankfully the other doctor who was cc'd on it made me aware of and told me to call him and make him aware of it in case it had been missed. Cannot State strongly enough that I would not recommend this doctor to anyone I'm sorry. At a point in time where patients charts were to be switched over electronically several years ago this practice is still using paper charts. During a time when Physicians cannot prescribe this doctor wants you to make an appointment to come in and pick up a prescription for every medication you need refilled. Why because he has no patience coming into the office. In a town which is predominantly made up of senior citizens many of whom don't drive it having a physician who is desperate for some change that you have to go to his office to pick up a refill is not exactly senior friendly. The office is an outright disgrace it is dirty it is hot the equipment looks like it's from 1950.. Do yourself a favor get yourself a real doctor if you can find one in this County!

Back in 1995 this doctor saved my life. He sent me to a specialist who discovered tumors and one was cancer. I don't want to go into all the details but the Urologist told me that Dr. Wert did in fact save my life and if I would have come later the cancer would have spread and it would have been too late for me.

I called the office and asked for a physical - Nothing in depth, completely normal. WITHOUT asking my age, the receptionist said, 'Aren't you a little young?' I'm over 21 years old mind you... Then, she asked for my medical conditions to which I replied with several. Without asking my needs, she said to 'go elsewhere, we can't help you,' and when I replied, 'All I need is a physical and I'm looking for a new primary, that's all' SHE HUNG UP ON ME! Don't go to this RUDE doctor's office!!! Didn't even give me the time of day... GREAT way to start off a relationship with new patients. I didn't even get to make an appointment, and they didn't even know me! HORRIBLE service, HORRIBLE receptionist, and HORRIBLE office! I'm actually glad they were rude because I looked up more reviews and saw they were all bad. I dodged a bullet - make sure you do too!!!
