I had a vertical sleeve gastrectomy in 2018 with Dr Edward Cussatti. From my Pre operative phase until today, Dr Cussatti has been the type of Physician that is truly knowledgeable and supportive every step of the way. I reached my goal weight in 11 months and am grateful everyday for this tool and for this amazing, gifted surgeon. He truly cares about his patients and wants you to succeed. I have been a patient of Dr. Cussatti's since 2011. I have had multiple surgeries performed by him. He is very knowledgeable and answers all your questions before you have to ask them. He is compassionate and does not rush you through your appointments. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking into bariatric surgery.

He explained the surgery, scheduled it quickly and I recovered quickly as well. Dr. Cussatti was personable and caring.

does not follow up with patients that he starts with - sends for testing and then tell the patient he sends that he can not help them, he wont take the insurance, why bother starting with anything in the first place then??? Surgery in 2007 - perforated ulcer caused by staple that was left, emergency surgery 2014 - surgery was unsuccessful and was told to go elsewhere he could not help. Now I am picking my next surgeon out of a hat thanks to his medical help. Doesn't like my insurance, even though I called and got prior approval for him to do surgery. Refuses to work with them. Guess Money is more important the health to the Doctors these days.
