I have total trust in Dr. Dolezal. 20 years and "cataract surgery 19 years ago.

Dr. Dolezal always answers my questions and provides clear explanations.

If I could give less than one star I would. Dr. Dolezal is one of the worst Ophthalmologists that could exist. He has no care for his patients or human life. If you go to the emergency room, he will say there is nothing wrong with you and send you home. Even if you are in need of care and other doctors feel you need to stay in the hospital. He will not communicate with other doctors, he will also fail to show up to appointments. He will refuse to see patients in the hospital just because he feels like it, even if he hasn't even seen what is wrong. He will even fail to call multiple doctor calls to ask for his recommendations. He should not be practicing and should just retire or most definitely not be seeing people. One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor. I hope no one I know will ever have to need his services.

I have active MD and Dr. Dolezal did a great job working with my records from that specialist before my cataract surgery. I felt very comfortable with his level of expertise and caution with my specific situation. Because he recommended a Toric lens in my "good" eye and no special lens in my left eye already scarred with an earlier hemorrhage, my MD specialist was impressed that Dr. D. did not over-prescribe a lens for me that would not help at all. I liked Advocate Good Shepherd for the surgery

THis is a family type practice. Everyone been here and knows each other well. The in house boutique is independent but competative.

Dr. Dolezal is a good doctor but the way appointments are scheduled makes it seem that they do not respect the time of their patients. They will call you to a room very quickly but you will sit in that room for at least an hour before he comes in. The longest I’ve waited was an hour and a half. When he came in I said something and he said “it’s only 7:15, your appointment was at 5:45.”. I was shocked at such a disregard of my time. They need a better scheduling system.
