Edward William Gutteling

Dr. Gutteling provided excellent services to me as a patient 2 years ago. He is a very caring person & very easy to talk to. His explanation of how my surgery was to be done gave me the ‘assurance’ that all will be great ... and it was! I highly recommend Edward Gutteling, M.D.! Much mahalos!

THIS MAN IS A QUACK AND SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING MEDICINE !!!!!!!!!! He said he was giving me Cortisone shots and gave me only Novocaine shots after discussing past treatment with cortisone that was successful NEVER GO TO THIS QUACK !!!!!!!!!!!

I had a torn Achilles and opted to have it surgically repaired.. .. the care provided was excellent. Friendly, compassionate and caring staff.

MY FAVORITE DOCTOR.....JUST THE BEST.....TAKES TIME TO EXPLAIN AND NEVER, NEVER RUSHES.....I WISH FOR A GP LIKE DR. GUTTELING, BUT NOW I AM DREAMING.

Dr. Gutteling shares a clinic with Hilo Urgent Care. Approximately two weeks before meeting with Dr. Gutteling, I had the very unpleasant experience of seeing the urgent care physician. I won't revisit detail here, but suffice it to say it was one of the worst medical encounters I've had in my life! Due to the shared facilities, I was very apprehensive about meeting Dr. Gutteling, but by the end of the appointment, I can safely say this visit was among the best I've ever had. Dr. Gutteling took time with me. He wanted me to tell the story of my injury in my own words. He examined me and reviewed the xrays from the urgent care visit. Dissatisfied with a peculiarity, he ordered another series of xrays and found what could have been easily missed: a broken bone. Short story: Got an orthopedic problem? Make an appointment to see Dr. Gutteling. You won't be disappointed.
