I had 2 hip replacements . I was really scared I did not know what to expect , from the Drs. Office to surgery everyone was great it was so much easier than I thought. Dr Humbert is wonderful!!!!

I was told it would take one year to fully recover from total knee replacement. Here I am one year later and find myself working as an usher at Spring Training for the Braves. After every three outs, I have to walk down 15 rows of seating, turn around to assess the crowd and then walk back up 15 rows of seating. This is repeated after every pitcher change as well. I never could have held this job if it were not for getting my knees replaced. I feel like I have a new lease of life. Thanks to Dr. Humbert and his very professional staff for making this possible.

From my first visit, until fully recovered, it could not have gone better. The pain and swelling in my knee is now completely eliminated. I had given up on exercise and fun things- now I'm back feeling reborn. Thank You. I have since also had several friends also have same experience and glad they chose Dr. Humbert.

Dr Humbert and his staff are the best. Always smiling, professional and personable. I had a total knee replacement and I don't have any complaints on my care and results!! Have already scheduled my next knee with Dr Humbert and I can't imagine that it could have been any better!!! He really is the best surgeon in the joint ☺️

Never thought I could go through a total hip replacement but Dr. Humbert reassured me that it would be one of the best decisions I would make. He was wright and I am glad I did it. Now I am 5 months in recovery and my hip is doing great. He is the best and his staff are also just wonderful caring people. Anyone having doubts should have a visit and discussion about your surgery with him. The best to him and his staff.

The only time I saw Dr Humbert his visit was rushed, he walked in the room took a look at my x-rays and said, "you need to have full knee replacement on both knees" and turned around and walked out the door, no MRI scheduled!!! Going for a second opinion and to an ortho doctor that has much more updated robotic technology, not the OLD style assembly line surgery at this office!

Dr. Humbert gave me two new knees, one last June and the second a month ago. I am thrilled. Although I am still recuperating from #2, both surgeries were relatively easy and I wish I hadn’t waited so long to replace both painful, arthritic knees. Thank you, Dr. Humbert and your fabulous staff, for two extraordinary total knee replacements!

My father was an exemplary physician, globally recognized for his brilliant mind, profound medical knowlege, procedural excellence, and impeccable surgical skills. For all of my 84 years, I held him in the highest of professional esteem and believed that no one had been, was, or ever would be his peer. But then I met Dr. Edward Humbert, and all that changed! Founder of the Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida, located in Fort Myers, and one of the nation's premier total knee and hip replacement surgeons, Dr. Humbert recently (Jan., 2023) performed his wizardry (full hip) on my 84 year old frail and osteoporotic wife. The results speak for themselves. Sub-30 minutes from incision to suturing, transfusion-less and now, five weeks later, having experienced no post-surgical issues or problems, my wife is fully mobile and functioning, Dr. Humbert is a medical genius, an artist who paints with a scalpel as Rembrandt did with his brushes and oils. Move over, Dad. I have found your equal!

My visit with Dr. Humbert was terrific. He has completed 3 surgeries for me, the latest being knee replacement less than 4 weeks ago. My recovery is on-going but according to Dr. Humbert, and my home care Nurse and Physical Therapist, not part of Dr. Humbert's office, I am doing excellent. Most important is that I can see the progress I am making on a daily basis. I find the whole experience at this office well run and patient centered. I wouldn't go to any other Surgeon!

Had my knee replacement in Oct 2019. Did my physical therapy as ordered. He did an outstanding job. No problems at all, but you must do the physical therapy to get the best results. I have recommended him to my neighbor and after examining her, he said your not ready yet. I think that demonstrates his integrity. He won’t push you if he doesn’t think your ready.

I had my post op visit with Dr. Humbert today. He was pleased with the results of my knee replacement and encouraged me to pick up my activities now. I am happy with my "new knee," and thrilled that he is encouraging me to swim,, gradually return to tennis, etc.

Visited office to discover issues with hips. X-rays were taken, My issues fully explored. Dr Humbert diagnosed the causes and recommended very conservative treatment. Treatment was made and I felt the entire process was professional and concern for my condition was real.

Uncaring no communication

Have visited Dr Humbert twice now. Once for knee issues and once for shoulder. Very well run and clean offices. All employees are very efficient and pleasant. Appointments were made easily. Overall a great experience. Bob R

Dr. Humbert is tops. Knows exactly what he is doing and talking about and took swift action with a conservative step in treatment first, before moving on to more complex treatment. My knees feel great for the first time in 8 years!

Today was my first visit with Dr Humbert. I was sent here from the VA under Community Care expecting a total knee replacement. After looking at my X-rays, he recommended that we go with shots in my knees to see if that would help instead. He told me that as long as I can keep my original, it would be best. I'm hoping that the shots work, but if not I will certainly be back to see him for replacement.

Excellent. Although “new” patients may initially feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of fellow patients sitting in the waiting room chairs beside them, I can assure you to fear not. Dr. Humbert is excellent, as are his staff PAs and office staff. He is always knowledgeable, reassuring and a super nice Dr.! I highly recommend him!

Today was my first appt with Dr Humbert. I was impressed with his professional and friendly staff. There was practically no wait time, very organized. I checked in, went upstairs, had x-rays, met with his nurse and then saw Dr Humbert. He is friendly and informative. Received a shot from his PA, not too painful and scheduled a total knee replacement, yikes!!! The last thing I did was see a scheduler who was all business and very pleasant. I appreciate all of them!!

I had a knee replacement in Cincinnati OH in 2008. Needless to say, it did not go well. 3 surgeries later, I was very skeptical about having my other one replaced. We moved to Fort Myers Beach area and I wanted to get back to being active again. I met and talked with Dr. Humbert and instantly knew he was the right person for me. Had my replacement in November 2021 and am back out on the golf course. THANK YOU, DR. HUMBERT!

From first visit to post-op everything went smooth. Dr Humbert and his team were excellent and Lee Memorial and the nursing staff couldn’t have been better. I had complete hip replacement and chose to do one overnight which included the first therapy session. After that it’s been home therapy for 3 weeks with a great team from Cape Coral. Highly recommend Dr Humbert and the system he uses.

My visit was on time even considering the waiting room was full. The procedure was quick and I was on my way in about 10 minutes.

I had a knee replacement several years ago in NY, but now live in Cape Coral. My other knee has been causing me a lot of pain so I began researching doctors here in SW Florida. Dr. Humbert came highly recommended by a number of people. His office staff is amazing. My appointment was prompt, efficient and professional, yet personal. Dr. Humbert was easy to talk to, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. While I was expecting him to recommend surgery, he suggested injections for the time being. I feel very confident in his care.

I saw Dr Humbert’s PA. He addressed my questions proficiently and gave my knee the shot it needed. Walked out with no pain. First time it helped immediately! Normally about 1-2 days before relief.

This visit was a follow up from knee replacement surgery. Had developed fluid on the knee and went in to have it removed. I was seen by Austin, a PA of Dr. Humbert's. He explained that this was a common issue and gave me a lot of good information. He aspirated my knee and it does feel much better. Austin was very professional and caring.

I was very satisfied with every step in my first appointment with Dr Humbert! From checking in to scheduling additional appointments, the staff is very organized, friendly and helpful.
