I made a new patient appointment for 11:45, arrived early and at 12:25 inquired when I would be seen. The front desk staff asked the Nurse who advised she could put me in a room but couldn’t predict when I would be seen by the doctor as there were still two patients ahead of me. Absolutely unacceptable customer service and respect of patients time. Perhaps the practice should look into properly scheduling patients. I would highly not recommend setting up an appointment unless you have the day to wait around. Very disappointing experience. After moving back to Charleston a year ago, I knew I needed to find a new dermatologist. Dr. Hill at Daniel Island Dermatology has been fantastic. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She always takes the time to answer all my questions thoroughly and never makes me feel like she is in a rush. When I had a concern regarding my 6 year old daughter she quickly got her in and set her up with a treatment that resolved the issue immediately. My family sees Dr. Hill for all our dermatology needs. She is always very professional and thorough and has a wonderful bedside manner. She has been doing Botox and fillers for me for years and the results are so beautiful and natural. Highly recommend!

Dr. Hill is one of the kindest and most intelligent doctors I know. She provides excellent care, treatment and advice. She always prioritizes her patients' best interests. She does not push unnecessary procedures. I have had the pleasure of knowing her since moving here from New York City in 2015. She has taken care of my parents and their respective skin problems, myself and my three children. I am so very grateful to have Dr.Hill as my doctor and can not recommend a better dermatologist. Be prepared to wait. Each time I was there it was over 45 minutes after my scheduled appt. I can't afford to waste my time like that.

Great practice! At the last minute my sitter cancelled and I had to bring my two young children to my appointment. The office staff, nurses and doctors were all very gracious. The practice was clean, everyone was super helpful, and the doctor was very quick to get me in and out. I highly recommend this practice!

Best Dermatologist in Charleston

Best medical care I have ever received period. I’m 73 years young and as a Vietnam era vet I’ve seen a lot of doctors in my lifetime. I’d give this office & especially Dr Shan a 10 star if I could.

Dr. Hill was so thorough,compassionate,understanding and patient as any doctor I have been to in my 76 yrs and 10 states. Her assistants were so kind and helpful and the office staff could not be more hospitable or accommodating. Outstanding group.

All the providers and staff are at Daniel Island Dermatology are excellent at what they do! I cannot recommend highly enough.

I have had multiple procedures performed by Dr. Rachel Hill at Daniel Island Dermatology. All I can say is, WOW!! The results have exceeded my expectations every time. Dr. Hill recently gave me filler and botox, which immediately got rid of my perpetual sleep deprived look and turned back the clock a few years. I then saw more improvements over the following weeks and could not be more pleased with Dr. Hill's work. There is just no substitute for 'good hands' and excellent technique, and Dr. Hill most definitely has both! I also appreciate that she gives a thorough explanation before every procedure. I tend to ask a lot of questions and Dr. Hill patiently answers all of them. I highly recommend Dr. Rachel Hill. I suddenly started losing my hair, and of course, was very worried. I went to Dr. Sahn who worked diligently researching possible causes, even calling me at home with futher health questions. She discovered the cause, and within 6 weeks my hair was growing back. I was extremely happy!

Dr. Sahn and her entire staff are fantastic! Dr. Sahn flawlessly performed a minor surgery on me last year. Although I was nervous, she thoroughly explained the procedure and what to expect during recovery. She is extremely knowledgable and I would highly recommend her.

My visit with Dr. Hill was great! She made me feel at ease with what she was doing during my annual skin survey with her reassuring smile and her calm voice. She has a wonderful way of making you feel like you've known her for years, even though you've just met her! I'm looking forward to my next visit!!

I have seen Dr. Sahn for more than 10 years and she is an amazing clinician. I always feel very cared for and all her examinations are thorough. The fact that she incorporates her 2 specialties of dermatology and internal medicine in her exams means she is more than just a dermatologist. Her practice is small, so everyone knows your name and makes you feel comfortable and cared for even in times of stress (I was diagnosed with a melanoma several years ago). I highly recommend Dr. Sahn.
