Elias Abou-Zeid

This is NOT a good neurologist. Simply not good. He is quick to run you through a lot of test but not good at at evaluating. The staff is the worse I have ever been involved with. Waiting to go back up North to see a real Neurologist.

Not a good physician when it comes to assessments. If you need a reliable evaluator seek someone else.

One of the most be Doctors I have been to. Was very concerned and helped me in minimizing my migraines.

He solved my 50 year battle with migraines. He knows the Neurology protocol. I highly recommend him????

Like others that have posted, my mother now has multiple forms of dementia. Approximately 3 months after starting to see Dr. Elias, she had a stroke. My father called him because of the significant change in status. He told my father that it was "just part of the disease" and that "she'd go quick." She had a major stroke 2 months later that could have been prevented, and the doctors in the stroke unit confirmed that there was a previous untreated stroke. I have never met Dr. Elias and at this point I don't think that would be wise.

This Doctor is not in touch with his patients. My mother came to him for testing because she is showing signs of dementia. He did testing and dismissed her with a diagnosis that she is just getting old. She was refered to him again less than 6 months later and he was VERY mean to her, talking down to her and then diagnosed her with stage 2 dementia..... It was very apparent that she was struggling with her memory, speech and cognitive functions but he would not entertain the idea of anything other than she was getting old. He seems like he is out of touch with the patients and seems like he just wants to collect a check and send them out the door.

My wife initially went to see Dr. Elias several years ago. He was very professional, and informative. I recently went to him for peripheral neuropathy, and had an EMG performed. He is not a social worker, he is a very competent doctor, and I would recommend him. The receptionist is very friendly, and does her job well. ??

Very professional. Seems knowledgeable. Was courteous and efficient. Did his testing and then discussed the results. I would return as necessary. The receptionist, however, is another story. This woman should never deal with the public. She issued a lecture without knowing my circumstances, didn't understand even why I was there and was totally out of order. She seemed angry without reason. Rude doesn't even begin to describe her actions. The doctor gets five stars and the receptionist gets none.

Literally the worst doctor ever! He was rude and very dismissive. He was not open to talk to and literally made you feel stupid when you are just wanting help. Do not recommend him at all!

Doesn't seem to care about my health. Age seems to be his only concern. In my estimation he's in it for the money - not for health reasons.

The rudest receptionist I have ever encountered. Dr was dismissive and wanted proof I was having seizures... Ridiculous.

My husband went to Dr. Elias about memory loss and we had a very pleasant and informative visit both with nurse and Dr. Elias. He listened carefully and asked questions. He gave my husband a test for memory then ordered an mri. He was thorough and we were pleased with all aspects. I do not feel that a doctor needs to coddle his patients and Dr. Elias was to the point on my husbands diagnosis.

Dr. Elias listened carefully to my problem. He was not dismissive of my complaints. His exam was thorough. Gave me hope that there is a treatment that will offer me relief. Very pleased with my entire experience, include all staff members I encountered.

This was the worst neuro ive ever seen in my entire life. Does not care to listen to a word you say. His nurse is the most disrespectful person i have ever met. And his receptionist shouldnt be dealing with people period. I dont have any understanding as to how their office operates being as ignorant as they are . They assume everythings in your head without doing 1 single test on you. Its absolutely ridiculous . Went to a new neuro and he was just about as furious as i was after just 1 MRI !

Does not seem to encourage patients to be active advocates for their concerns. Is mildly compassionate. Does not know much about many "rare" conditions, and is not very helpful with Migraines.

Soft spoken is the only nice thing. I came away feeling that nothing was wrong with me that any medicine was probably not needed or VERY subjective. You go to a doctor to find help and assistance from this doctor, all I got was ignored, ridiculed, and it was implied that all I wanted was drugs. His receptionist could use a sense of humor and a smile!

He has been one of the most kind and understanding neurologist I've ever experienced.

I told doctor Elias I have Raynaud's disease and he prescribed me a harmful medication that affects my condition. Just goes to show he takes no time to truly listen to your health problems. I hope he doesn't end up killing someone with his negligence.

His exams were thorough. His explanations of procedures, medications and conditions were given in layman's terms and with patience. He was engaging and concerned.

He has been the first doctor to get my Migraines under control. He does a nerve block on both sides of my head in the back about ever four months. Now I don't miss a ton of work because of the headaches! I feel like I have my life back now.
