Miss Ellen Odette Remsing

I recently just moved to Kansas from SoCal and before I moved I had a dental implant placed. After I moved I figured I would just get the crown put on and all would be well! Well the other night I was sitting on my couch and felt what I thought was my implant falling out! I went into straight panic mode thinking my implant is coming out and I would have to have another surgery and may I add I am terrible with anything medical/dental! Since it happened on a Sunday night I had to wait till the next morning to call the dentist office and request an urgent appt. I called the next morning a nervous wreck and spoke with the receptionist at Advanced Dental Arts and she was a doll! She was very sweet and offered to get me in that day in which I gladly accepted. In the middle of speaking my "implant" then fell out so I was so happy I was getting in that day! The office was really nice and spotless! The paperwork part was painless which is nice when you have to fill out the new patient information. I was then taken back by the dental assistant and brought in the piece of metal that fell off from where the implant was (again, expecting the worse and they are going to tell me I needed surgery) and she smiled and told me that it was just the healing cap! The implant didn't fall out! Such a relief!The dentist Dr. Ellen Remsing then came in and she was so sweet and explained that healing caps are put on the implant to help the gum tissue from covering the implant. She reassured me and explained that my implant was fine and to not stress. I then felt so silly for making a big deal about it! The assistant and Dr. Remsing were both really great about explaining the next steps in getting the crown done and I felt totally at ease going forward. And we had a good laugh about me thinking my implant fell out... If I could give 100 stars to rate Dr. Ellen and the entire team of Advanced Dental Arts , I would. Dr. Ellen is an AM-AZ-ING dentist and does unbelievable dental work! She makes the ugly: beautiful and the impossible: possible! A real miracle maker! I had some teeth bonding done and Dr. Ellen gave me the most beautiful teeth I have ever had! In fact, I almost had a car accident while driving and admiring my new teeth in the mirror. :) Dr. Ellen is by far the best dentist I have ever visited! We are so blessed to have such a professional in Manhattan, KS! On top of that, the kindest people work at Advanced Dental Arts: Beth, Emily, Erin and everyone else I came in contact with were so patient while dealing with me and went out of their way to help me.
