I wasn't going to share a review on this Doc because I already said what I needed to say to her.....but I mean sharing is caring. She definitely needs to work on her bedside manner, courteousness, and regard for people. She was late to appt and rush through not leaving any room for you to respond to questions. She explains things like she is a telemarketer so you feel like a customer than a patient. I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt but I got the feeling she really is overwhelmed and deliberately being rude to turn new patients away. I would not recommend her. I visited the Maiden Lane Medical Center on 3/16/2022 at 90 Maiden Lane in New York City. I came in to see Dr. Emily Blanton for my annual examination. The office is vey clean , the staff is super friendly. Dr. Blanton is an excellent professional. Her bedside manners are superb. She is very attentive and thorough, and vey gentle, too. I love Emily Blanton as a person and as a physician. She's gentle and thorough and brilliant. I love to be able to joke with her. She answers questions thoroughly and in layman's terms. Dr. Blanton is the best doctor I have ever had - hands down. After several years of experience with judgmental, old-fashioned, and even nasty gynecologists in NYC, I found Dr Blanton 3 years ago and have never been happier. She is extremely responsive to urgent medical requests (even within 8 hours) - for visits or prescriptions. She actually listens to you and cares deeply about your issues - and believes you when you say you are in pain. I cannot recommend her enough. I have been seeing Dr. Blanton for several years now and she is one of the best doctors I have ever had - knowledgeable, caring, gentle and understanding. She goes above and beyond to ensure her patients are comfortable and treated uniquely. I highly recommend her and the broader practice.

I had a great experience with Dr. Blanton. I liked that she first sat down with me (fully clothed) to talk and get my history. Everything went quickly and she was very friendly!

Dr. Blanton has an excellent bedside manner. Respectful care and patient education are the key stones of her practice. I plan to keep her as my OB/GYN for a very long time.

I've just started seeing Dr. Blanton but I am very happy and impressed so far. She is very thoughtful and thorough and explains everything very carefully so you understand your options and possible side effects fully before making a decision.

Absolutely the best doctor there is! Dr. Blanton makes you feel comfortable and informs you of everything she does and all medical lingo. She truly cares for her patients. I feel so lucky to have found a doctor as wonderful as her.

My experience with Dr. Blanton was amazing! She took time to explain all of the lab work and also talked through her findings while doing my ultrasound. Very attentive, non-judgmental and shows compassion. I’m happy I’ve found her!

The most amazing doctor I have ever been to. Her bedside manner is amazing and she really goes above and beyond and takes her time with her patients.

My experience with Dr Blanton has and is most informative. She is easy to talk with and not feel she is talking at you. I am very comfortable with her.

I have been seeing Dr. Blanton at Maiden Lane Medical for the past two years, and my experience has always been stellar. Dr. Blanton always takes her time with you and makes you feel extremely comfortable. When I have gynecological concerns or questions, Dr. Blanton is very thorough and makes sure to check all the boxes to make sure everything is looked at. Wait time is never too bad (~10-15 mins) and it's easy to book appointments. Def recommend. After 3 visits in a span of 2 months, I will never be returning to Soho Gynecology. I allotted one star simply b/c my initial experience was great with Dr Blume. However, after returning & seeing Dr Blanton (more than once), my experience at soho gynecology was mediocre. They are impersonal, inconsistent, & inconsiderate. Contacting the doctor always proves to be a hard task, b/c they refer everyone to using the portal. They also omit information as far as what you are being charged for, & what necessary steps need to be taken prior to the visit. They look for any reason to have you come without regard to your money, or insurance (after my yearly exam, I have to pay partial out of pocket for visits). I was able to self diagnose & when I brought the information I found to Dr Blanton, turns out she was a specialist in the matter but failed to mention that to me during my visits with her, although I was showing CLEAR signs of the condition. Lastly, I work in the city & usually set my appointments to happen during my lunch. The wait time is excessive and you feel rushed in your visit. Overall, this just was not the spot/ doctor for me. dr Emily blancton is a darling....extremely caring doctr .... I deliverd my first baby and she was the doctr ..... really she handled a patient like me very well cuz I wz a truble maker ... hats off to u doctr...I had come frm Dubai and she is a very comforting dr she understands dfrnt cultures n traditions and wz very very sweet thankyou soo very much dr blancton....she deliverd my baby boy on 15th October 2014 and im pregnant again and my due date is sept 2016..im coming to nyc for her...:)
