Our son needed his wisdom teeth removed and molars exposed. We also required a separate Anesthesiologist. Dr. Fried was the only local Oral Surgeon that could accommodate our needs. He and Dr. DiFranco were absolutely wonderful.

I had a tooth removal and bone graft performed by Dr. Fried. I was impressed by his, and his teams', professionalism. Dr. Fried explained the process before the procedure and explained each step as he was performing the procedure. The procedure went so well I never needed so much as an aspirin for follow-up.

Dr. Fried is amazing. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at once. The procedure was only 20 minutes, didn’t feel anything with local anesthesia. I highly recommend Dr. Fried!

Myself and my family have been patients at this practice for many years. I have been willing to pay out-of-network prices because of the excellent care I have received here. My experiences have been with Dr Fried and Dr Alperin. Both staff and doctors are professional, pleasant and so helpful. I truly feel cared about and that I am always getting their best efforts. What a comfort.

Dr Fried has worked on both of my children. He is so knowledgeable and so sensitive to what kids are feeling. The office feels very comfortable but also very professional. The nurses are top notch. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Fried and his office staff we're very accommodating when it came to scheduling my appointment. I saw Dr. Fried for a molar extraction and bone implant. I was very surprised at how quickly and painlessly this was performed. I am a few days out from the extraction and I feel just fine. There is nothing to question in so far as Dr. Fried's skills and the quality and professionalism of his entire staff.

My experience with Dr. Fried has been excellent. Twice, I've had to have teeth extracted. Dr. Fried treated me professionally and calmingly. The office facility is immaculate, the staff are helpful and sympathetic. I certainly would turn to him again for oral surgery.

Surgery was very quick and easy. Dr. Fried took a lot of stress off me before the procedure. Office is very clean. Was not in a lot of pain after which is a plus. Very likely to recommend to a friends

Clinically, the work was as promised. Financially, they said the out of pocket expense was one thing and they ended up charging me 4 times that. Make sure you receive the billing estimate in writing before you get the work done.

Dr. Fried was gentle, efficient, articulate and skilled.

Mixed feelings about Dr. Fried. Technical skills are good. Bedside manner- inconsistent. First appointment he was rather abrupt. Second appointment was via telephone, and he was courteous. Third appointment- extremely arrogant, condescending and annoyed with questions. Apparently, his behavior depends on his current mood.

Excellent. I was very anxious and the staff and Dr. were all soothing, professional, courteous and procedure was carried out with very little discomfort. All was explained to my satisfaction.

I had a molar extracted. It was an excellent experience. Explained everything that was going to happen and he was spot on. He said when I was going to feel pressure (no pain) and when I was going to hear some sounds. Procedure was about 20 minutes with 10 of it waiting for Novocain to take affect

Had a implant done. Dr. Fried and his staff were great. very professional and caring. If going to a DDS is ever a good experenice, this is it. Will go back any time I need work of this kind done!

Dr. Fried had a big job ahead of him with pulling my 2 teeth. One as a super long rooted molar. I had myself worked up for a few days before this appt. The assistant did a good job calming me down; as Dr. Fried did too. Very pleasant nursing staff.

I had to have a 45 year old wisdom tooth removed. Because it was so far back in my jaw and it was cracked I was really worried about the procedure. Dr. Fried was kind and very empathetic to my concerns. I went through with the procedure and felt no pain or discomfort. I would highly recommend Dr. Fried. He also removed the impacted wisdom teeth of all three of my children several years ago.

His office got me in right away. Dr. Fried even called me personally to check in on me. He was very straight forward when explaining things to me.

Early on a Monday morning, my dentist told me to immediately contact Dr. Fried and obtain an appointment to have a wisdom tooth and possibly another tooth extracted. Thinking I would have to wait days, possibly longer, I contacted his office. Colleen answered the phone, and with no reluctance, scheduled me for a 12 p same day appointment, as there had been some cancellations. Laura checked me in, Julie assisted Dr. Fried, and Gia discharged me. Dr. Fried's skill and knowledge was highly apparent to me, that I had very little swelling to my cheek and gum. He was outstanding at explaining the procedure and options. Everyone is highly communicative and personable. November 16 2020

I was scared to death and the staff was as sweet as they could be! They were patient and kind and Dr. Fried was very sweet and funny trying to put me at ease.

Dr. Fried and his staff were fantastic for my daughter’s wisdom teeth removal. Patient, thorough, very kind - couldn’t have asked for a better experience (even for wisdom teeth removal!).

He was wonderful. One molar was extracted, He described what he was doing and it didn't hurt. He also left a message for me over this weekend to see if I was doing ok. I really appreciated the followup.

I had to get biopsy and it was a quick and easy procedure. Dr. Fried was great at communicating and he has an awesome staff.

Like most people I'm very uncomfortable & anxious going to the dentist especially when I'm already in pain. Dr Fried has a gift. He's very nice, very calming, confident & reassuring. Everyone is super nice! The office is clean. The nurses and doctors are so nice and take the time to explain everything! Afterwards they make sure you are ok before they release you. Dear Dr. Fried, Gia and I wish I could remember the names of all the great people who treat me like royalty the day I had my surgery. They were quick and efficient, yet the nicest and sweetest people one can ask for and I thank you again for being so accommodating. A++ Rating!

Overall the procedure turned out good. However, watch out for the fancy xrays that are not necessary and not covered by most insurance plans!

I don’t have family in Cleveland, so once I printed off the list of available surgeons in-insurance-network in the area, I did the next best thing: I took the list to our “office mom.” She immediately picked out two names from the list. I called both practices, Alperin & Fried second. The oral surgeon I called first, had retired. Now in my line of work in a small business, not dissimilar to the relationship between a doctor and his/her patient, there are both qualitative and quantitative factors in what is considered (by patients, customers, or clients) a wholesome experience. On both factors, Alperin & Fried get a 5 out of 5 from me. And here’s why: -My surgery was on a Friday morning. Dr. Fried called me on a Sunday afternoon. Why? To see how I was doing. Fortunately for the both of us, I was doing great! No swelling, no problems. I had even gone to the coffee shop the day after surgery, and read for a few hours. Now that courtesy call was exactly what it was meant to be: a courtesy call. Dr. Fried did not have to call me; he could have had someone on staff call. But it’s part of their process, and I truly appreciate the gesture. -They will not waste your time, which is money. The “waiting room” of any doctor’s office is aptly named: you wait. However, I did not end up waiting very long for the surgery appointment, by relative standards. I had pre-filled my information before getting to Alperin & Fried, and arrived when requested, 30min before-hand. I was given general anesthesia for the 4-tooth extraction, and the procedure took less than 20min. I was out the door with my driver soon after. For the follow-up consult a week later, I left my office on Chagrin Blvd at 12:53pm for a 1pm appointment. I got back to my office by 1:25pm. From a business standpoint, I got exactly what I wanted. We exchanged a few pleasantries, Dr. Fried checked on the healing process and told me what to expect going forward…and I was out the door. For those of you reading, please don’t expect the courtesy call; it’s a courtesy call. Instead, what I hope you gain from this patient review is perspective on Alperin & Fried. They care about you: a special shout-out to Susan, Cindy, and Judy for actively participating in the patient experience. They’re genuinely good people, and they mean business because you’re there for business. But they get it done in a palatable manner and they made me feel comfortable in a foreign setting. In the follow-up, Dr. Fried jokingly asked if I would do it again. Ans: No, I would not voluntarily do it again. However, in the future potential circumstance that my dentist (Obermeier & Adelstein) recommends oral surgery… I will be calling Alperin & Fried. And in the more likely circumstance that someone asks me who to go to, I will be referring them to Alperin & Fried.
