My dad’s been going to this office for years and likes it for the most part, but lately Dr. M upon changing dad’s catheter doesn’t keep things dry, if you know what I mean. My dad chalks it up to the dr being busy.

I went to Dr. Mitchnic’s office yesterday for the first time. Him and his staff were great! He answered all my concerning questions on the topic at hand. He had me at.. “I treat the symptoms not the number”.. He was extremely personable and professional. Highly recommended. Five star review. ????

This was my first visit with Dr. Mitchnick. I was very pleased with all aspects of my visit including ease of making appointment and office staff. Dr. Mitchnick was kind, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and helpful in explaining plan of treatment. I look forward to future visits.

I arrived much earlier than appointment. Was very welcomed and checked in easily without having to fill out pages and pages of forms. The office staff is very friendly. My first visit with Dr. Mitchnick was pleasant. He went over my records and explained his plan for treatment very clearly. I have faith in him because he comes very highly recommended by a friend who has used him for years. A good find and fit for me.

Dr. Mitchnick was insensitive, dismissive and uncaring.

This was my first time visiting a Urologist. Dr. Mitchnick took the time to review my issues and concerns. He explained the recommended steps and put me at ease. His demeaner as well as his staff is professional but with a friendly touch. He was recommended by my brother who really is very cautious of who he goes to and now, I found my go-to.

Just called this office for first time & woman put me on hold. She actually hung up on me! So, I called back & said an apology was in order. She said, "For what?"!! She said her name was Valerie & that she is the assistant to Dr. Mitchnick. Extremely rude & bad attitude. Will be reporting them to NYSDOH.

I wish I could give no stars. Please avoid this doctor at all costs. Been a patient for over 20 years, but recently has gone off the deep end. He is extremely rude along with his staff. He recently dismissed my bladder cancer diagnosis and lied on operative report. Scary to think what could've happened if didn't find a competent doctor. (I wonder why the previous reviewer felt the need for such a glorious review right around the same time that this happened to me. Hmm??)

I have been a patient of Dr. Mitchnick since 2005 when I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. The surgery and treatment cured my cancer. He is honest, communicates well, and is a great urologist. He calls with test results. Dr. Mitchnick is down to earth, which makes me comfortable.

His medical knowledge is impressive but his people skills are what stands him apart. I have been a patient for 30 year and never once was disappointed. Great doctor, better person

Dr MItchnick is kind, professional and explains everything he is preparing to do for the patient. He is an awesome gentleman who makes me feel very comfortable that he will help with my situation.

Dr. Mitchnick has been treating me for prostate issues for years. He is attentive, caring and excellent at managing my problem and minimizing the symptoms.

My mom was a patient of Dr Mitchnick's for 20 years. She had chronic obstructive kidney stones and in the last year of her life, lung cancer. When her insurance changed due to financial constraints, his front desk staff were incredibly rude to her and refused to see her in a timely fashion and he would not return her calls. With this, she would have to wait to go to the ER until her kidneys were on the verge of making her septic. It is of my opinion that money was chosen over compassionate care.

Visited doctor several times for kidney stones and pain. Refuses to call me back after leaving several messages. His receptionist is in charge of giving patients medical advice and test results. Completely unprofessional.
