Dr Mercado is a very understanding and caring Dr. She listens she understands she helps u get on the right med that work for u. She is down to earth never rushes u out of her office. I was told she retired and then I c she is still in practice if the information is correct. I loved going to her and feeling like a human agin and understanding what was going on with me. If u need help as some of us do. This Dr. will make you wait in her waiting room 45 minutes to 1 and a half hours past your appointment time. One time she never showed up so mk offered to reschedule us and we accepted. If that isn't enough she really doesn't talk to my daughter....only adds the nmbers from the 4 page information sheet you fill out every time you come. I am and have been disabled for years. Due to a chronic condition I was unable to keep my daughters appointment, it was 5 minutes before her appointment when a reminder went off on my phone. My daughter told them I was sick and she had no way to get to her appointment amd mk asked what was wrong with me. My daughter tried to explain but it wasn't good enough. My daughter asked to reschedule mk saidnot until she talks to me and the dr. Today I received a $180.00 bill for a no show and was toldno further appointment can be made until it is paid. I was never late once, always paid on time....maybe she owes me a no show fee for her not showing up to work when people are waiting for hours to see her.
