Ms. Farha S Tokarz

Dr. Tokarz has seen my son for nearly 7 years. She was the last we needed to see in a long list of specialists attempting to diagnose my son. My son has chronic migraine disorder. Dr. Tokarz was able to diagnose and treat my sons condition effectively. She is attentive and responsive. As my son has matured from a 6 year old to an almost 14 year old, his condition has changed and he has been diagnosed with epilepsy as well. I am also an epileptic so its important to me that my experiences with medications and seizure management are heard and my opinion respected. Dr. Tokarz has been phenomenal in doing so. She treats my son with care and kindness. She listens to us and works with us to find solutions and treatments that work for us. However, she has an no nonsense approach when topics are difficult and situations are concerning. I appreciate that as much as I do her kindness. I don't want a physician who acts like everything is sunshine and rainbows; life for kids with chronic health conditions is hard and having an honest, tell it like it is team is imperative. Dr.Tokarz very understanding and listens to your concerns! She takes her time and answers all my question thoroughly! Very good bedside manner!

She is an amazing and caring doctor. My 5 year old absolutely loves her. I couldn’t have asked for a better neurologist. She is genuinely caring and not like most doctors who try and rush the visit. My son just started getting partial seizures at 5 years old and it’s been a scary and emotional experience for my entire family but we always walk out her office feeling so content and optimistic knowing that our little guy is in great hands and the best of care. Not very good. I would not recommend. I actually recommend she find another profession, or simply do research away from other people.

She was dismissive of my daughter and gave terrible advice like “don’t wear a ponytail. “ We went on to another doctor who gave us attention and diagnosed my daughter’s very serious illness

In the hospital she went over the EEG footage with her 5 year old son repeated a few times she wasn’t violating hiipa. Worst part she said, My son calls your son Googly eyes. She repeated it again trying to get a reaction thinking it was cute. Our 2 month old is suffering from seizures and she thinks it’s funny her son calls our so. Googly eyes. Unprofessional. She doesn’t listen. And doesn’t have an understanding of what an Epilepsy actually is. Dr Tokarz was friendly when seeing my child at first but then it all changed when we forgot to inform the office of something and was running g 15 minutes late. She came into the room with an attitude and when we advised her about the change with my child, she blew up saying we disrespected her. I apologized for the miscommunication and took ownership for my fault but she was just straight up rude. If it doesn't go her way, she's not happy. Even my 3 year old asked why she was mean and mad. I would suggest finding someone different if you want a pleasant person to deal with. Really nice and good with kids

Our first time meeting Dr. Tokarz and she was awesome. She was patient and very thorough. She also answered any questions we had and was very sweet with my son. I’m not sure about all of the negative reviews-my experience with her was great.

Not sure how’s she’s a Neurologist, much of which deals with Epilepsy. She is unfamiliar what an Epilepsy is and has absolutely no understanding of it and should be referring those patients to a specialist or someone who knows what it is. When she speaks it seems as if she’s making it up as she goes along it’s very uncomfortable

She was very rude and condescending. She seems inpatient and hurried. I would not recommend this neurologist.

I am stunned and extremely disappointed in the unprofessional behavior of this doctor, She repeatedly interrupted me when I had a question, she made me feel stupid and was downright rude. Having a disabled child this doctor needs a reevaluation to work with children, I have never experienced the most cold, and uncomfortable feeling from a supposed professional in my entire life. Please do not see this doctor.
