NEVER. I was unfortunate enough to have him assigned to me while hospitalized at MountainView. I had 2 other doctors including an infectious disease specialist. Dr Ahmed said I could be released once the ID MD said so. She OK’d my release at midnight. It’s now 4pm. I have had NO tests, no procedures, no medication at all today. A wasted and EXPENSIVE day to just wait around to be released home. I am so stressed out and he won’t even give me my regular blood pressure meds prescribed by my Primary Care physician. IF you get him assigned to you, speak to the hospital administrator and get another doctor!!!
This Dr. Is a nightmare. I am reporting to medical examiner board. He never called nurses back. Stopped all home medications causing me a great deal of complications. Even my seizure meds. I have been in hospital for 2 days and still have not seen him. I have 2 pulmonary embolisms and adema with swelling of lower extremities and nothing to help itching or pain. If you get this admitting Dr. Run for your life.
My wife spent 5 days at MountainView hospital for a pretty serious condition. Dr. Ahmed kept us informed about the results of every test; he never seemed rushed, he took time to talk to us; he informed us of all the medical issues and treatment options. An all around professional, very competent, and just a good guy.
Dr Ahmed is one of the worst physicians I have ever seen. He has no compassion for his patients does not respond to contacts from the hospital regarding his patients does not try to find the reason for patients illnesses. He will not discuss a patients medical care with them but rather toss there written questions back at them and walk out the door with no answers. This violates a patients rights yto participate and be informed if their health care plan. He is errogant with no cause he is defiantly not the caliber of physician that deserves the title of dr little lone have that pompous attitude. He has forgotten the hypocritical oath he took as a physician. Dr Ahmed is out there to take the money and get a paycheck from the insurance companies. He does not have any concern for his patients. I would not let him treat my dog. My suggestion to you is to run as fast as you can away from this dr
