Dr. Fay Woo

Dr Woo did Lasek surgery on me in 2009. Amazingly I still have 20/20 in both eyes. My only regret was waiting until I was over 50 years old to get it done. Dr Woo is truly one of the best in the country, in my humble opinion.

I have never had a doctor like DR. Woo that takes the time to give so much attention to my condition, and explain in detail what is necessary to treat my eye problems in detail .Doctor woo even calls my home to check how I am doing.

I’ve always received good eye care from Dr. Woo but today i had to cancel my appointment (that was very over due!) because of adverse reactions to the Covid vaccine and was told she had no appointments available until December. And no cancellation list. I find this appalling. NO doctor should should treat their patients this way, regardless of the doctors patient load and/or reputation. The person I spoke to that handled appointments was not very polite, nor did she seem apologetic at all that I would have to wait 8 more months to see my doctor now because I had to miss my appointment due to illness from my second Covid vaccine shot. Dr. Woo is a great Doctor but I left her office due to the unbelievable wait time. Her office way over books! Now that was a few years ago, but I'm seeing another Dr. in her group! Hardly no wait time!

Dr. Woo is an excellent ophthalmologist who has taken care of my entire family for over 20 years. She has preformed LASIK on two of us, told another daughter she was not a candidate for LASIK, and preformed cataract surgery on two members. She explains everything well and is very warm and caring.

Skilled, thorough ophthalmologist who has an excellent bedside manner.

Dr. Woo is amazing. Extremely intelligent and a highly skilled surgeon, Dr. Woo is the first choice for cataract surgery in Baton Rouge. Excellent, excellent, excellent!!! Now I see why I had to wait over 6 months to get in to see her, she is so popular b/c she's such an expert doctor in every aspect. Her nurse also gets an excellent rating! I will never see another ophthalmologist other than Dr. Woo again. Thank God there are still quality medical professionals around. Not like the bad treatment I got from Dr. Charles Williamson's office. Excellent, excellent, excellent!!! My vision was not good. I wore glasses or contacts and was not a candidate for lazer surgery. I developed cataracts and Dr Woo did my surgery and now I have 20/20 in both eyes! No more glasses or contacts! She is awesome and cares so much!
