This the best doctor by far, really knowledgeable about almost everything and just the best communicator .

Dr. Koumpouras was incredibly condescending, dismissive, and insulting. He did not listen to me and completely dismissed my issues, in the most insulting way possible. I would give him negative stars, if I could. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. I would stay away from this doctor, especially if you are a woman, as a woman's pain is all in her head (apparently).

Awesome doctor I ever had

Hes a gentle and kindness Doctor, we love him, he hears and answer all our Questions, the best!!!

I was at an arthritis meeting he spoke at last week. I have more knowledge about my disease now than ever! Great communicator with people who are not physicians.

Kind and compassionate doctor who really listens to his patients. Very knowledgeable in his field of expertise. He diagnosed me when others could not! I am extremely appreciative of Dr. Koumpouras.

Dr. Koumpouras is the doctor who finally diagnosed me correctly with Lupus 3 years ago. I had an awful cold and got progressively sick and no other doctors could figure out what was wrong with me. Finally my primary care thought to send me for more tests after three months of going back and forth to different doctors and finally something got done! He is beyond amazing, caring, and always compassionate and able to find the right therapy and treatments for me

I saw Dr Koumpouras 10 years ago. Had very rare presentation of CNS Lupus and was only Dr able to treat and eventually diagnose. Mine is aggressive,life expectancy less than a year but his treatment gave me prolonged and higher quality of life. Very respected everywhere! Seeing new doc since he moved to Yale but his treatment and care continues through his well earned rep and trust from current rhuemy. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend dr koumpouras. He was excellent in all areas. Also had a great personality, very professional and had excellent medical advice.
