She explained my condition and treatment options well and listened to my concerns. I had the time I needed to ask questions and fully understand.

During our first appointment, Dr. Montanari expressed concern about my platelet count, suggesting that I might have an autoimmune disorder, thrombocytopenia. Alarmed, I asked if I could see the blood test. She handed me the printout - THEY WERE NOT MY RESULTS. Not only was she basing clinical decisions off of the wrong patient's results, but I also saw the name of that patient! She then ordered the wrong dosage of my medication, and the on-call doctor had to rectify her error.
