Just got off the phone with the rudest receptionist ever!! After trying to schedule an appointment, I asked her to verify if her office uses carbocaine, since I cannot use ephinephrine for my treatment. Instead of just asking the doctor or putting an assistant on the phone to verify my question, she instead wanted to drag me into the office wasting everyone's time for me to verify if they use carbocaine. Nice racket your running. In resonse to the owner, I know what my specific needs are. There is no reason a doctor or a medical assistant could have let me know if carbocaine is used in your office. If not you are wasting my time and yours. I have NEVER called a dental office that was not able to provide that information. It is reprehensiblle that you would want to drag me into your office and charge denti-cal because your office does not want to disclose whether you use carbocaine or not. He removed. All my wisdom teeth no pain! I was super scared to get this done and my experience was wonderful it has been over 2 years now! Highly recommend

He was super informative as well as the whole staff. They were all really nice and super understanding. My sister and I both got our wisdom teeth removed there and we both were attended with the best care. They made sure we were both comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. I truly recommend this place.

Ever since I moved to California I quickly found out dental care is horrendous especially if you have Medical! You get stuck with sub-par, cookie cutter solutions solving, overloaded dentists. Due to no dental care lack to coverage for 12 years, bad eating disorder, and aggressive serious infection that spreads to body from bad absess tooth left in because full payment required to pull- WORST MOUTH/TEETH issues. Thank God I went through hell from last absess from April to August (COVID) because countless phone calls all day finally led me to Dr Pestana and his office! Oral Surgeon who takes Medical and amazing availability, especially in emergency. Got both teeth out with local shots less than 10 minutes, no antibiotics needed, NO PAIN during or after. Took me in for advice consult when request within a week, and gave me complete honest, experienced, knowledgeable advice necessary for personal condition. No my dentist no with partials (3 yrs/4 teeth on top) and finally did what was necessary. The staff then did personal phone to their dentist explaining situation and got me in as new patient to handle dentures. Also, constant special with me and eating disorder by EVERYONE in both offices. Got me in immediately to pull all teeth, with just little gas (not needed), general shots, and all pulled less than hour no pain! No antibiotics needed after and only needed to take a pain pill that night, next morning....nothing after that. Told me to come back anytime if I needed for pain or issue, and followed up on that promise 3 months later when I needed him. You have to have a great staff to help being recommended, and I can't fit everything that they do extra and amazing, so key "must haves" Knows who you are and your complete situation with no more explaining every time. Knows when it's an emergency and gets you in immediately. All the hygienists remember you and already aware or your case, and each came in to check on me or just say hi. Always take extra steps to make you comfortable first. Schedule perfectly with no long waiting. I cannot begin how amazing, above & beyond, the whole team did to resolve my emergency under 20 min, same day! One of the TOP skilled oral surgeons definitely in Northern California, I know I had to call everywhere to get help. EVERYONE just gives top 3 commonly general referrals without coverage matching. The office is in American Canyon you'll never get him on who to call. The Medical dental help line started giving me Oakland and San Francisco and didn't have this office on map. At the end of my process getting 1st set of dentures and old real smiled for first time in almost 4 years because I knew I 100% made the best decision thanks to Dr. Pestana, finally after after 5 years, fixed everything in 3 months. I had my surgery yesterday, i can't say enough good things about this clinic and their staff, the nurses were very sweet and caring, they made sure I was comfortable at all times, the facilities were incredibly clean and the surgeon was amazing, I was rejected in another places because I had only 2 wisdom tooth left... but when I went to my appointment with Dr Pestana he told me: "I don't pick my patients"... thank you so much for your professionalism. I really love this Dentistry even though i am a first time patient. my first appointment i felt so scared and nervous. the surgeon made me feel calm and reassured me that i'm gonna be ok when he told me about my teeth extraction. I was so relieved to feel like i can be comfortable and relax and listen to what he had to say to me about my teeth surgery. I really trust this Surgeon. and i also love his assistant she was so sweet and nice to me . she even took my xray and my blood pressure. When i fist heard about this place and When i looked it up it had great reviews so that's how i know that i can feel safe,comfortable and let the surgeons do what they gotta do to get my teeth work done. I love this man!! Absolutely wonderful attitude and knows what hes doing hands down no pain with an extraction! Paid for gas and didnt even need it!!

This is the second time I go to Dr.Pestaña, he is a great oral surgeon and his assistant is exceptional as well. I definitely recommend him. He is understanding and clearly explains the procedures. Thank you!!!!

This is the kindest most competent Doctor I have ever met. Above the normal anxiety most people have at the dentist i have a Dx of severe anxiety D/O. He was able to calm my fears and pull several teeth. Even my 26 year old son who came in the room with me said "Mom that doctor was really nice to you an the staff's cool too. I had a problem wisdom tooth. Dr. Pestana took the time to explain the procedure, gave me his recommendations and options. He made sure to put mind at ease. His assistant, Ana, made sure my appointments were all set up at my convenience. She gave me the email and on-call cell phone in case I had questions or concerns. I wish I could give 10 stars! This oral surgeon and his assistant were amazing! I had an abscess the size of a baseball and the situation was urgent to the point that my throat could soon swell shut. I was scared as hell going in but I must say these people catered to my every need and were true to their words! They made me comfortable, were patient and understanding of my fears of the dentist, and made me feel more comfortable than any dentist AND doctor has ever made me feel. They also knew their stuff.
