I did not have a good experience with this doctor. I found alternate care after my first appointment. Then it took months to resolve a billing mistake on the part of his office.

Highly recommend coming to Dr. Uribe and his staff! The staff is highly professional and completely courteous and the same is to be said about Dr. Uribe himself. He is distinct from other Drs. I've seen in his profession in the way that he genuinely listens and is easy to talk to and connect with which i feel is important. He always addresses any concerns i may have and is sure to touch every base every session we have which is very comforting to know he's giving optimal care and treatment. Definitely doesn't make you feel like just another patient, his attentiveness is a refreshing change from previous providers! Highly recommend coming to Dr. Uribe and his staff! I will never get to meet this doctor , but I hope that he is better than the horrendous office staff. After more than two months of waiting to see the doctor ( i suffer from terrible anxiety ) the office called me the day of my appointment to cancel . When I asked to reschedule as soon as possible as the abrupt cancellation sent me into a panic . The person on the phone said she could not reschedule my appointment and it needed to be cancelled . She said someone would call me back. I followed up a week later as I heard nothing about a new appointment . When I called, I was met with someone that was more hostile than the cancellation call. My original appointment was scheduled for mid December . When I asked what the next possible appointment was as my anxiety was at its worst, I was told I could see the doctor in JULY! When I explained that my appointment was cancelled and I really wanted to see the doctor because of my anxiety. The front desk person suggestion i check myself into the psych ward of the hospital !!! Now I have worked for doctors for the last 15 years and I never … and I mean never … especially with this kind of practice would ever shun and poke fun of someone with an issue . This was by far the worst patient care( or lack thereof ) I have ever encountered . As a military spouse, I have lived in many states including New York City where you pretty much experience everything and I’ve never heard of such a ridiculous response . This person should be fired. I would not recommend even a phone call to this office if that is the kind of care you get . It took me some time to post this review because I am horrified any office could ever be run like this . I am hoping I can help the next person who is looking for help. Apparently this doctor is so busy anyway.. so maybe he doesn’t need to new patients . 100% recommended such a caring person he was able to help me with my anxiety his staff was so nice that she even recommended other facilities that can give extra help. I am so grateful for the friendly voice who answers in my time of need for rescheduling or cancelations. Dr. Uribe has been nothing but first rate! He and his staff have been extremely accommodating with me and my schedule. Even through the Pandemic issues and now, Dr. Uribe has been a constant in my battle with PTSD and has been far more understanding than my previous Mental Health professional. Dr. Uribe listens and truly cares about me as a person and not just a patient. I have and will continue to highly recommend Dr. Uribe for anyone seeking a down to earth, but highly skilled Mental health professional! Dr. Uribe has been nothing but first rate! Horrible. I was having pretty extreme side effects with some medication and when I called regarding this, his receptionist said to stop taking it or continue, that it was up to me. She also said to wait and see if the doctor would return my call because he was very busy.
