Frank Kunkel

My experience with Dr Kunkel goes back to around 2005 when I was unfortunately referred to him by my PCP. At the time, I was already addicted to narcotics after taking them for chronic back pain. My physical exam by Dr Kunkel consisted of him remaining in his chair behind his office desk and having me come around so he could simply look at my back. After that, he prescribed me a month's supply of narcotic pills. Each month afterwards I needed to travel to Cranberry from Pgh to pay his office $60 cash to get more narcotics. I am now a member of Narcotics Anonymous for the past 2 yrs. In my Recovery journey, I have heard other addicts speak of Dr Kunkel and how they, too, received narcotics from Dr Kunkel for cash, as they would then resell these pills to addicts. Dr Kunkel now is in the business of "helping" addicts get clean by pushing yet another drug, Suboxone, while all the time continuing to profit from the devastating Disease of Addiction. Shame in Dr Kunkel... Shame!!

It’s a pill mill. He took advantage of a very vulnerable and sick population of people out of total greed! I don’t care how “professional” he appears to be on the outside because inside he was only in this for the money and now that he has made what de desired he he jumped ship and abandoned hundreds upon hundreds of patients. So much for the so called opioid crisis!!!

Dr Kunkel’s office is nothing but a pill mill. The MOST UNPROFESSIONAL doctor I’ve ever had the mispleasure of dealing with. I’d rather go to a veterinarian!!!!!

I go to his suboxone clinic, ARS. I've been on this medicine for going on 10 years and have been with 5 different doctors. If you have insurance and really want to get clean of everything ARS is the best choice in the Tri-County area. If you aren't willing to give up your xanax, adderall, ambien, etc habit, prescribed or street, don't call ARS. You will be kicked out sooner or later. You won't have to worry about your doc being shut down by the DEA(happened to me) thanks to their strict policies

Dr, Kunkle was a very caring, concerned Physician who was more than happy to assist in my chronic pain management. He listened to what I had to say, and prescribed the appropriate medication for those problems. I would definitely recommend him to my family & friends.
